Before I could even question Lui's ability to initiate interaction between other human beings, the next memory began.

[ ] = Memory

Valt said, "There goes the author, helping the readers know what's going on."

"Quiet, you dolt." Naoki practically yelled.

[ Horikoshi Elementary, Masadora, Japan

A traditional Japanese classroom appears on the screen with various children (of about the age 7) hard at work writing down notes.

The screen zooms in on one boy, Lui, who is playing with what seems to be a accurate replica of a bey, but it's made of cardboard.

Lui lost his tussled, stubby hair, and now has short yet long blue hair (slightly resemiles Trunks from Dragon Ball, but Lui's hair is wavy).

While the teacher speaks off in the distance, Lui spins the 'bey' and examines it.  The teacher says "Get with your partners" and everyone scrambles to find their classmate.

A Korean boy walks toward a distracted Lui. He has dark, black eyes hiding behind thin, black glasses. The boy has green hair tied back into a ponytail, and a playful smile.

He excitedly sits next to Lui, who smiles crookedly and says, "Hey Se jun."]

Rantaro slouched in his chair. "How is that boy not running away in terror?!" Everyone nodded.

["Hey Lui. What are you doing?" Se jun asks.

Lui eyes the replica bey like a cougar stalking it's prey. "Just looking at the spin capability of my fake be-"

"Okay, kids. For your assignment, review any kind of force on an object to object to present."

Se jun snapped his fingers. "Maybe you can tell me if there's any science in beys!"]

I noticed Shu curled his hands, making his knuckles appear white against his pale skin. Was he..mad?

[An older boy walked to Lui and Se jun and mockingly says, "Yeah, Lui. Show us the 'science' of toys!"

He and his group of friends laugh menacingly as Se jun gulps and looks at Lui, who smiles widely.

"Take a look at this."

Lui twists his hand and freestyle spins the bey. He explains, " All beys in this world tend to obey Newton's laws when they're travelling at everyday speeds, namely that
1) A bey will remain at rest, or at constant velocity, unless an external net force is exerted on it, 2) A force acting on a bey will cause a change in it's momentum that is proportional to the strength of the force, and in the direction of the force, 3) Every action on the bey has an equal and opposite reaction."

Everyone in the class stares at Lui in awe. Se jun smirks at the older boy, who huffs and walks away.

The bell rang and all the kids ran out. Lui gathered his stuff to leave when the teacher called him up.

The teacher asked for Lui's fake bey and said, "Young man, you may just be one of the greatest bladers out there. Keep this up and you'll be able to participate in tournaments soon enough."

Lui nodded and ran off.

His teacher whispered to themself, "That boy actually found physics in a game. Huh."]

The screen turned black as the sleeping Lui turned in his sleep. Naoki tapped away at his tablet as we looked at each other.

I noticed Shu was still showing signs of anger. What's going on with him?

Question: Why do you think Shu is upset with Lui?
