I kept my focus on the road, stealing glances at a peaceful Sid sleeping any chance I could.
The trip to the airport was silent and boring since Sid was sleeping. Finally arriving at the airport, I found a parking spot and pulled in. I glanced over to Sid still sleeping soundly. I nudged her shoulder softly, seeing if I could get her to wake up.
"Siddy..." I cooed, "time to get up, we're here."
Sid still didn't move. An idea popped into my head and I smiled mischievously. I put in the aux cord to the car and put on my Heavy Metal playlist, turning the volume nob on full blast.
With the sounds of screams and loud music, Sid woke up abruptly, giving me a big death glare.
"I hate you," Sid scoffed, "you couldn't have woken me up in a more peaceful manner?"
"Yeah, like THAT would work," I scoffed, "you are such a deep sleeper..."
Sid huffed in response and laid her head back against the seat.
"I'm tired," she huffed. I got out and opened her car door, unbuckling her seat belt for her.
"I know, me too." I smiled, "but once we get on the plane we'll be able to sleep for a good 2 to 3 hours."
Sid looked at me happily,
"That sounds nice." She smiled as she pecked my lips while getting out of the car. I smiled at her small gesture and closed the car door behind her.

As soon as we got onto the plane, Sid was out like a light. While we we're waiting in line, she could barely keep her eyes open. Leaning her head on my shoulder, sleepily.
"You're ridiculous." I smile down at her, the only thing I got in response was a light nod.
I gave her a small pat on the head, playing with her messy bun. I gave the flight attendant our tickets, and we entered into the plane.
"PAX, here we come." I smiled as we buckled up for take off.
