XII: Confusion

He walk in like a lifeless doll in the room, walking straight to his sit -- didn't bothered to greet back to his friend who greeted him gleefully, he sit and lay his head on the table facing the window; looking outside with his lifeless eyes. His friends alarmed at his weird demeanor, even the latter has a bad morning or anything... He wasn't like that.

It's been three days since the 'thing' happened, and now he wants to talk to the older; but how? He is the one who avoided the other in the first place, he ignore jungkook's text and calls after that day. And now he misses the others company -- it driving him crazy! Not to mention his chaotic feeling!

He like taehyung, and he is 100% sure about it... but the thing is...

He began to have a soft spot for jungkook not only as a friend but more than that...

Torn between his feelings, and he don't know how to face it. That's why he came up with that bullshit idea -- avoid jungkook...

The first two days was okay... If you ask him, he always say his fine -- everything is okay even his dying inside, yearning for the older.

And now his heart shattered into piece, seeing the idol post in Twitter earlier...

[Earlier...]

He woke up by the annoying ring of his alarm, even he is still sleepily he force himself to sit up and reach up for his phone. That was becoming his daily routine.

Wake up...

Search for his phone...

Go to jungkook's personal Twitter account...

He is not spying or stalking... He just want to know what the older doing.

He scrolled down to load for new update, his face lit up seeing a new post, but soon flattened he don't know why -- he feel his heart being prickled by a million needles endlessly. Vision becomes blurry tears brimming.

'huh! Why am I crying? Why-why I -- I..' he choke in his own words doesn't have the courage complete it. He buried his wet face on his palms, crying his eyes out silently.

'he look so happy with her...he smile widely while his arm is around her neck, face barely touching...' he sobbed.
'who am I? Compared to her?... She's pretty, talented, smart and most of all she was like him an idol. And me? I'm a nobody... Maybe I misinterpret his kindness and sweetness or maybe it's a part of the contract I signed in...' he cries biting his lower lip. 'Jiminie pabo!!' he chant repeatedly in his head.

The time pass by real quick, and now it's time for leaving. He get his back and get out in the room, not waiting for his friends. He wants some time alone, some time to unwind so he decided to go to the cafe where jungkook take him before. And he's hoping to see the other their too, finally a small smile crept on his face seeing the familiar cafe.

He entered sauntering straight to the counter when a familiar figure catches his eyes, he sure that was him... his broad shoulder, his shiny brown hair. He was sure it was jungkook! He walk near the guy with a wide smile, but froze when he realize the other is not alone. He is with someone...

"hahah! Are you serious?! You really say that to pd-bang?" the girls exclaimed laughing her butt out.

"what's new? I always so that..." he replied cockily rolling his eyes.

"oh my! Can you stop that thing! You acting like a gay!" she fired still laughing.

Jimin slowly back away... Holding his tear threatening to fall, 'he seems happy with her...enjoying each other company.' he bitterly chuckled, leaving the cafe in a broken state.

He rambled like a lost kid, tear brimming endlessly. Heart is aching like hell, he just like the other as a friend, but why he feeling this way? Broke and betrayed... Maybe because the other made him assumed that their something between them.

Suddenly the last words of the older rang in his head.

"can you make my wish come true? Be mine for REAL and stop chasing my hyung..."

Is that real or just part of their stupid game, that he agreed!!
