Haebum and Jiyeon will bring
you out for a dinner tonight.
I will be busy,
sorry I can't be with you for dinner. My Diamond Lynnia
Again?! It's been two weeks since
we last had dinner together!I'm sorry. I need to finalise some
work before signing the contract.
I promised, I'll bring you out
for dinner okay? See you
at home tonight. Love you!My Diamond Lynnia
Fine. Okay, make sure you
won't skip your meals!
Love you too!I held the blue tiffany box after I exited the chat box. I can't contained the happiness to myself, that I am going to propose to her that evening. I have been working for the perfect proposal for the past two weeks. From the ring, to the garden reservation-- a place where we always have a dinner date. In fact, her favourite place.
Waling through the rose petal's path to the centre of the garden, I saw strings of light bulbs were hanging on the trees surrounding the garden. Looking up, the night sky was painted with stars, complimenting the lights that shines the table in the middle.
The table was decorated in pastel colours, with plates and utensils, with fresh flowers on it. The wine bucket was filled with ice, and it is placed on it's stand. The manager came to greet me, as he was holding a finest wine before placing it in the wine bucket. I was informed that the kitchen are getting ready with the food still sizzling.
The string quartet were getting ready with their instruments at corner. The four of them, took their seats in front of the music stand, as they were placing the music sheets on the music stand. Music from the violins were filled in my ears, as they were adjusting the pitch to a perfect tone, before playing a song.
Everything is perfect!
I have asked Haebum and Jiyeon to help me to get Lynnia ready for the proposal. Lynnia had no idea what I have been doing for the past two weeks.
She will be here in a few minutes time, my palms were getting sweaty from waiting. Anxious of how the night would be. I was walking back and forth with my hand in the pocket, holding the ring box, easing myself from the nervous feeling that settled in me the whole day. I keep on mumbling to myself, practicing my lines.
My steps were halted as I felt my phone vibrating in the pocket. Picking out my phone, I opened the text message.
My Diamond Lynnia
I'm sorry Namjoon, I feel like we've drawn apart for the past two weeks. You, drowning yourself with work, leaving me all alone in the house. I can't do this. I am sorry. Goodbye.
My breath were cut short, shocked of the text. I reread the name of the sender repeatedly. It can't be! I tried calling her immediately, but it was unreachable.
The sound coming from the violins became intense, at it's climax, as my heart was racing, panicked. Soon after, my phone was ringing. Hoping that she was the one calling me, I answered my phone immediately. As I said the first hello, my lips were turned into a frown as I heard the voice of the receiver's end.
"Namjoon, she's not here, in your house! We went searching for her, her house, her work place, my bookstore. She's no where to be seen!" Haebum said worrily. My hands were trembling. The grip to my phone was loosened. I dropped to the ground on my knees, when I saw Seokjin and Yoongi came running from the entrance of the garden.
"Namjoon!" I heard, but the voice seemed faded by the seconds. I could only see Seokjin's and Yoongi's mouth opened, yelling out my name, but their voice were muted. I shook my head vigorously, unable to fathom the fact that the love of my life is missing.
It felt like a dream. Freshly baked dream. I could remember that particular memory, like it happened just last night. The heart ache I felt all these while cannot compare to the broken heart I felt, losing her.
Every memories we spent together are kept and stored in my memory brain. Her clothes, her essentials, were still kept around the house. None of them were removed.
Without her presence in the house, the air surrounding the house turned gloomy, until now, even though the three stooges are here to liven to mood in this house.
I was sitting in the balcony looking at the skies and birds, while my mind was wandering at our happy times together.
Most of them began with what ifs.
What if I did not ignore you for two weeks?
What if we are to be married by now?
What if you did not leave me?
What if we were to live happily?
What if we moved to some places with onky the two of us?
My thoughts were cut off as I heard, Jimin, Seokjin and Jungkook came into the house. The door password are known by the three of them since they have been crashing into my house eversince.
I jolted up my body slightly as I was startled by the loud voice of Jimin yelling from inside of the house.
"We are here!"
"I know! It's not like I am deaf!" I told him, yelling from the balcony.
"Namjoon! I saw a few moving trucks down at the entrance of the building. I am guessing you have a new neighbour down below your penthouse!"
