Everything is falling around you
It’s that moment you notice the pain.
It’s that moment you understand
What it means to be shattered
It’s that moment you see the strain.
It’s that moment you get
Why no one talks to you
It’s that moment you no longer complain.
It’s that moment you learn
What it feels like to be hopeless
It’s that moment you can’t explain.
This little moment,
A spilt second in time,
Will break your heart
And pull you down from your climb.
