"Here I am again..." Celia said to herself as she held her camera bag in her arms, looking up at the hospital building where Lucian was being taken care of.
She felt sadder and sadder every time she visited him, which was every single day. She did talk to him, but she didn't feel like talking to the Lucian she once knew. She didn't feel like talking to the kind and caring Lucian, but instead she felt like she was talking to an empty shell wearing Lucian's face. The smile she had always liked had never been seen since that accident, and the only thing left was the emotionless face of a person who had lost the hope to continue on living.
Celia made her way towards Lucian's room, her heart still troubled. She came across the Chinese doctor, who had just come out of the room next to Lucian's. Doctor Li gave her a smile as he greeted the photography club president, "Good afternoon, Celia. It's good that you're here already. I have some good news about Lucian."
"Really...?" Celia's face brightened a little, but the thought about Lucian's hopelessness still haunted her.
"Yes," Doctor Li nodded, "Lucian's health is getting a lot better lately and it's thanks to you for giving him a lot of attention by visiting him every day."
"W-Well, that's good to hear..." Celia could feel her face heating up a little, "Then I should go and tell him now!" Celia bowed politely before walking towards the door to Lucian's room, "Thank you very much, Doctor!"
"Sure, it's my pleasure," The doctor smiled as he saw Celia rushing into Lucian's room.
"Lucian! I have some very good news!" Celia said, half yelling as she barged into the room suddenly, but surprised when she saw Lucian standing near the balcony, "Lucian! What are you doing there!? Don't jump!"
"Huh?" Lucian turned to the brownish-haired girl, confused, "What are you talking about? I'm not stupid enough to jump from here! Besides, this is the ground floor, right?"
"Oh... yeah... You're right... Sorry..." Celia felt really embarrassed, especially after she came into the room without knocking.
Lucian just shrugged and gave her a small smile before walking back into the room, "It's okay. I guess it's not like me to stay near the balcony during my stay in the hospital..."
'Is he... smiling? That... that smile of his... the smile I hadn't seen in such a long time...' Celia thought as a single tear escaped her right eye, turning the smile on Lucian's face into the worried look.
"Celia, are you okay? You're... crying..." Lucian slowly approached her, but suddenly Celia closed the distance between them and gave him a hug.
"It's... it's good to see you back to your old self..." Celia buried her face on Lucian's chest as she whispered quietly, "You're back to the Lucian I have always liked..."
"Well, uh... Sorry... I had been treating you harshly for the past month..." Lucian put his arms around Celia's waist, "I just hope... that you'll forgive me..."
Celia broke the hug and wiped her tears before looking up at him, "I forgive you, and I understand that you were just having a hard time after that accident..."
"Yeah, but maybe I was going overboard..." Lucian walked back towards his bed and sat on it before tapping an empty space for Celia to sit.
"It's good to see you're back now, because you're not going to believe what has been happening in school lately," Celia took a seat on the bed next to Lucian.
"Please, just not schoolwork... I can say that I don't miss it anymore after thinking about how many lessons I've missed already..." Lucian pretended to act cold again, but Celia could see right through him.
