***Six months later***
The stars are bright against the darkened sky, while a full moon was hidden behind some stray clouds.
A perfect night for a hunt.
Me and my father walked into bare cobbled streets of the town. Streets lamps were surrounded by small insects flying around them.
"Skye, around the corner."
I look over to see three guards marching down the alley. Killian and I remain quiet, so the guards dont see us.
The Queen hates pirates. She orders the guards to walk around the town and scout for pirates.
When the guards find a pirate, well, they hang them.
As the guards walk around the corner, Killian knocks them out by hitting the guards with his gun.
We run around the corner and up to the palace gates.
"Skye, you go in and i'll keep watch"
"Okay i'll be back soon"
I climbed up and over the large gate, onto the polished marble walkway.
I look back and take once more glance at my father. I think about all of the things he's done. Why am I doing this? I should take John somewhere far from here, somewhere where he will be safe. Somewhere where nobody can hurt him.
But I can't. I don't have a ship, or even the money to take care of the both of us.
Killian wants me to steal some of the Queens coins and jewlery. But i'll do one better.
I'm going to steal the Queens crown.
