A/N: Sorry i'm so awful at updating... The world's been a bit busy lately... I will try and update as soon as possible. I've got to be honest, I don't see why people say "I don't own anything" if they state that it's a FanFic... ATL fans would realise something in this chapter that relates to a song. HAPPY 10TH CHAPTER ANNIVERSARY! Rhy :)
Chapter 10:
We were making our way to breakfast when Hayley pulled me aside.
"What did you say to Travis?"
"Why?"
"He's in such a bad mood."
"That's not my fault."
"What did Alex say to him?"
"That no-one trusts him."
"Balls."
"Do you?"
"No but I'm not suicidal... Why would I tell him that?! He'd go crazy."
"He really does. Do you know where we are going?"
"No. But I know it's somewhere far and we are being split up."
"WHAT?!"
"He's taking Lauren."
"Over my dead body."
"It might be."
"Can you do me a favour?"
"What would that be?"
"Could you give me back old Hayley that doesn't say shit like that and scare me more than I already am because I prefer her."
"I'm still her."
"Are you sure?"
"No."
And with that we walked into the Hotel restaurant. I sat between Alex and Ed. Hayley sat between Travis and Lauren. He wasn't happy.
"Where have you been?" He hissed to us.
"Talking if that's still allowed, General." I saluted sarcastically.
"What the hell is your problem?!"
"Nothing is my problem, General!" Time to wind him up...
"Why are you calling me general?"
"Because you're acting like one, General!"
"What?!"
"YOU THINK YOU CAN BOSS EVERYONE AROUND AND ACT LIKE A PRICK! WELL, SCARING PEOPLE INTO WHAT YOU WANT THEM TO DO ISN'T RIGHT! JUST BECAUSE YOU'RE MR KNOW IT ALL! NO-ONE HERE TRUSTS YOU AND WE AREN'T YOUR SOLDIERS! WE DON'T HAVE TO FOLLOW YOUR EVERY ORDER AND YOU AREN'T TAKING LAUREN ANYWHERE! OVER MY DEAD BODY!"
Lauren looked at me, confused. Everyone looked at me confused.
"Where are you taking me?" She asked Travis.
"Good question but said wrong. Where AREN'T you taking her now?"
He looked uncomfortable. Good. He's made us think up a load of questions now we need answers.
"I was gonna take you with me." No shit.
"Where were you going?"
"NOT WITH YOU GUYS!"
"Why me?" Lauren's asking all the right questions.
"BECAUSE I LOVE YOU OK!" That was a very unexpected answer. I didn't see that coming and I don't think anyone, especially Lauren, saw that coming either.
"So what were you gonna do? Put everyone on a plane to Paris then abduct me and take me to TOKYO?!?!" I think she was pretty angry. My work was done.
"Sort of. That was pretty much the plan. I didn't want you to get stuck in with all of this."
"All of this what? We are a family. A pretty weird one, I'll give you that but we are still a family. We only all just met but we have been through lots and family's stay by each other no matter what? Do you think I would actually go with you. I may love you too but that doesn't mean I am going to go with you and leave all my friends in deep shit. You don't know me if you think that was how it was going to work."
SHE loved HIM TOO?! What had I missed in thoes 2 weeks or whatever that I had been in hospital for?! I seriously need to catch up and get filled in.
"You love me?" Apparently, Travis didn't know what was going on either.
"Obviously. But I also love these guys which is why I'm not going anywhere without them. You can go to Boston or Mexico, or Dublin or where ever in the world you wanna go. But I will be with this lot. So if you go, You go alone."
And with that, Lauren got up and left. I followed after her. She needed a friend.
