Chapter Six

"Go away!"

"No."

"BEAT IT!"

"No."

"WOULD YOU PLEASE FUCKING QUIT STALKING ME?!"

"Hmmm... No."

I whirl around, mindful of the tiny creature nesting in my breasts, and glare. Sasuke smirks, a deep chuckle coming out of his throat. Hardening my gaze, I call him every foul name of which I can think. He shrugs, smirking, and places his hands on my hips.

For the love of the gods... I'm gonna kill him!

Maybe after I let him kiss me again...?

"You're squishing Yoru," I frown and retreat, turning my back to the Uchiha.

"She was perfectly fine," he grunts.

"Well, maybe she wasn't!" I fish her out and cradle her.

"Mew!" she complains, squirming back inside my shirt.

"You're not really helping," I frown down at her.

Sasuke spins me around to face him, his black eyes darker than usual as his face lowers to mine. Feeling my heartbeat increase drastically, I watch as his eyes slide closed as mine struggle not to do so as well. Once his mouth touches mine, I finally feel my eyes close as he holds onto my shoulders. Hands clinging to his sides, I do the unthinkable and return the kiss.

I've sinned with him once, what harm will a gentle kiss do?

Yoru squeals, climbing out of my cleavage and retreating to laying by a tree a yard away from us. When he notices that the sleek kitten has my attention and not him, Sasuke lowers his hands to my hips and tugs me even closer to himself. My eyes shoot open, a gasp forming on my lips, at the unexpected action. Worse yet, he slides his tongue into my mouth and runs it along my own.

"Stop it, Uchiha!" I pull away, glaring.

"Ichi-chan," he glares back at me.

"Who told you that you could be so informal with me?!" I scoff, pushing him away from me.

"Your hips just now," he chuckles

"You're disgusting," I growl and retrieve my little kitty.

"And you're going to be my wife," he smirks.

"I've already told you! I do not desire to be used as a means to an end, Uchiha. You're trying to find power to avenge your brother, whom you killed yourself, and your clan. I will not and cannot allow my clan's jutsu and abilities to use in such an ill manner," I snap and turn to face him.

"HOW IS AVENGING MY CLAN AN ILL MANNER?!"

"Sasuke Uchiha, you are a man with a boy's heart! The noblest vengeance is that which is not taken! Forgiveness and love are much stronger than hatred and anger! You'd see that if you were not such a damned fool!" I spit.

"Meeeew!"

"I'm sorry Little One, we'll leave the ignorant child alone now and see if we can hunt you down some kitty nip. Huh, how's that sound?" I peck her nose, turning my back on him again.

"Stop babying that animal! Why won't you marry me and have my children already?" Sasuke scoffs.

It sounds like he's rolling his eyes and crossing his arms. Tch, he's a drama queen.

"I will find a husband who loves me, not the idea of using my power to further his own cowardly ideals," I walk away quickly.

"Ichiki," he grabs my wrist.

A moment later our gazes meet, and he falls pray to my Mind's Eye jutsu.

"Sasuke Uchiha... What is it that you truly dream about in that lonely mind of yours?" I muse.

"Mew!"

"I didn't forget about your catnip, I promise..." I sigh.

Sasuke falls over, his back colliding with the orange and red leaves of autumn. With another sigh, I sink to my knees and give him a soft kiss.

"I'm your rival, Uchiha. It doesn't matter what our mothers had planned, because Destiny is cruel. We're alike in our loneliness, but we are very different in how we handle it."

And then, like a shadow in the moonlight, I disappear.
