Even though I was young , I remember it so clearly. Blood stained the house as my family was eaten one by one , dad tried to help , but failed ,my sister was pleading with the beast like it was human " please please don't eat me !" she yelled before the giant ate her, chomped clean in half. My grandma held my small body with all her strength, before a a man in i cape saved us and took us into the inner wall. Today , on my 13th birthday I find out his name , captin Levi. " so Akio, I see you've been looking at the cadets train , with all these trespassing notifications I've got about you" grandma said. I looked back at her "I had to know if Eren was ok" I said with joy. Grandma stood , dressed in nice clothes "let's go get out rations sweetie" she said as I took her hand" As we walked twoard the line and got out food , a man approached grandma. "Give me that old lady" he said , grandma didn't give in " I got this food for me , no one else , now take your self and get your own" she said violently. The man moved so quick , I couldn't react, he struck her in the head with a brick and she fell, lifeless. I yelled for help as the military police rushed over, one man said "pffft, just leave her" he said, I grew furious and used a trick my dad taught me from his cadet training , as I took his musket by breaking his wrist and turning it on him bayonet pointed to his face. Gaurds soon restrained me and medics covered her dead body. I jerked away from the guards and ran, as fast as my legs could take me. I ended up at the bootcamp and a idea popped into my head, I claimed under the barbed wire and ran to where they have the platoon gatherings. The commander looked at me as I was caught in his line of sight, he stared at me " so what brings you here maggot , no youngsters allowed" he said, but I didn't stand down . He approached me and grabbed my head and lifted me up above the platoon by it , I yelled as he said " dose anyone have a legit reason why he should be allowed here ?!" Everyone was quiet , but then a soft , dark , but sweet voice spoke out " it's not his size or age that matters, but the size of heart and passion to keep people safe" the person said before stepping forward. It was mikasa and she was dressed in her survey corps cape, I was on awe as the commander said " I refuse to train him

, But if you do so I can't say nothing about it ". She looked at me " he's not much younger than me " she said " maybe about 3 years off but still , but if you don't wanna take him then I surely will " she took my hand as she took me away. Mikasa let go of my hand and looked at me " your follow my orders ok ? " She said " I'm gonna try some moves on you ok ?" I nodded and she pulled he blades out and swiped them at me. To her surprise, I simply went under the blade with my hand and pushed it up out of the way, she put them away " your trained " she said " but who ? " I told her my dad taught me everything but I was rusty, she then put her swords away and turned away and said "let's get you a cape " and with that I had began my adventure.
