Hey guys!!!! Now that all formalities are over, I can introduce myself.
Your host for this amazing journey through the upsy-daisy lives of Mayank and Akari is going to be me!!! Hi, my pen-name is Jocelyn @PapaLouieArcade (not that you didn't know this, but it keeps the intro flowing) and this is my first time writing anything. So don't expect this story to be perfect, and your support along the way is appreciated!
I did do some research(correct that to a lot) to get my facts straight about the Indian military and R&AW, thus, although this is a work of fiction, all the past events and organisations talked about are true.
I also do look forward to constructive criticism (but keep a check on the negativity, I do have a heart<3), so please tell me to change some aspect of my writing that you don't like.
As you might have guessed, this story is going to alternate between Mayank and Akari's point of view, while one is going to be a hardcore espionage thriller, the other is going to focus more on life of a typical teenager, filled with drama from home to school and beyond. I have worked hard to make their paths meet at the most opportune and yet unexpected of times, and look forward to you reacting to them!
Although I don't believe in a cast, I have added one to better the visuals. Personally, I don't imagine the characters as their casting, but a generous part of the characters' features are borrowed from their respective characters. I would advise reading the descriptions first and then painting the full picture. The cast with pictures is in the next chapter if you wanna check it out:-)
I have also planned to lay out various easter eggs in the forthcoming chapters and look forward to you guys finding them! Whoever gets them first gets a shoutout in the next chapter.
My first few chapters are going to be published irregularly, but I plan to update once or twice a week, tops. Love from the author and see you next week!
