Ben's POV

"You are done, and the time has come for you to reverse this curse of yours." I say with authority in my voice as I make my way over to Chris. The closer you more I can hear laughter and soon enough I see Chris's body shaking with laughter, I pick him up by his shirt, "What is so funny?" I growl angrily looking into the soulless eyes of Chris, "I am laughing because you think that I have the power to reverse the curse, I linked the curse to an object, so unless you destroy this unknown object it looks like the chosen one has failed." Chris's laughter gets louder as it echoes through the throne room, "What did you link the curse too?" Chris's eyes shift towards the right, and I look to see what he is looking at but in this case unfortunately it is not something but someone, and that someone is Shay, "You linked the curse to Shay?" I ask in disgust, and Shay looks shocked, "I knew that if I linked to a person that you wouldn't have the heart to take an innocent life." I can see Shay start shaking a little, "Why would you do that to me? I thought that you loved me?" Chris makes it back to his feet and steps as close to Shay as he possible can, "Everything I have ever told you was a lie, I used you to get what I wanted, and all those times we had sex I was really thinking about the real woman that gets me going, and sad to say that you are not even close to the her." My heart hurts looking at Shay who has just fallen to her knees and tears falling from her eyes like a nonstop waterfall, "You are nothing then a rejected Isle member, your own father left you because he knew what a failed daughter you would turn out to be." I can see the more Chris talks the more Shay is getting pissed off. Suddenly a cloud of blue smoke appears next to Shay, and out of the smoke appears Mark, "I think I can help you Shay." Shay looks up at Mark with tears in her eyes, "I don't want to die." Shay chokes out as she desperately tries to catch her breath, "My dear, you will not die on this day, and for what is to come you will be needed to your full extent." Mark waves his hand over Shay and suddenly Shay begins to glow but the glow only lasts for a second and suddenly Shay is back to normal, "You lied prince of darkness." Mark stands back up on his feet and turns his attention to Chris, "There is no dark magic within this girl, you were going to sacrifice her for no reason." Shay and I look at Chris, "What did you really link the curse too." I ask him in a threating ton

Shay: The time has come. {Shay stands up and wipes the tears from her face.} Surrender yourself to me. {Shay turns her gaze to Chris.} Don't keep me far away. {Chris covers his ears trying to ignore the sound of Shay's voice.} Listen to my voice. {Chris shakes his head because he knows what Shay is trying to do.} You are my love. {Chris and Shay lock eyes.} Rest now in my arms. {Chris's body relaxes} Release us from thy curse. {Chris nod his head slowly.} Give me the link please. {Chris takes off the bracelet from his right wrist.} Listen to me my love. {The bracelet has a sliver chain around it with a pendant in the middle, and in the pendant, you can clearly see white and black smoke moving around inside.} Your curse is done and gone. {Chris hands the bracelet over to Shay.}

Just like me as soon as Chris hands Shay the bracelet he is snapped out of his trance. "HOW DARE YOU USE YOUR VOICE ON ME YOU UNGRATEFUL PIECE OF ISLE TRASH!" I had enough of him talking that way to Shay. I pull back my fist and punch Chris as hard as I can in his face. Chris falls to the ground knocked out, "I apologize Shay, no man should ever talk to a woman like that, no matter how evil they are." Shay gives a small smile before holding up the bracelet. "I think you are looking for this." I nod my head but I can't grab it because of the barrier, and the only reason Chris was able to give the bracelet to Shay in the first place is because Mark made a temporary hole in the barrier, "Mark, I think the barrier can come down now." Mark nods his head raises his hands destroying the barrier. "My part has been completed it is now up to you chosen one to restore things to their proper place." Mark bows and stands back. Shay steps up in front of me, "Here." Shay hands me the bracelet, "Thank you Shay." I place the bracelet on the ground and raise my sword high above my head, and the only thing that is going through my mind is 'Please let this be the end of all of this." I close my eyes once more and I feel strange sense of power begin to flow through me, and the last time I felt this was when I broke Chris's blade into two. I slash my blade down and I can feel it connect with Chris's bracelet. I open my eyes to see the link has been destroyed and the white and black smoke that was trapped inside erupts and starts covering everything in its path. After the smoke clears I notice that the cathedral was back to normal, "Well done chosen one, you have fulfilled the prophecy, and everything is back to the way it should be." Mark bows once more to me before vanishing into a cloud of blue smoke. "Now to deal with you." I say turning around to see Chris awaking.
