Peeta POV
Katniss & I are eating lunch out at a cafe with Finnick & Annie instead of the cafeteria at work. We are talking and laughing at one of Finnick's jokes he thinks of the weirdest jokes, we all love him regardless he's family.

Suddenly Katniss drops her fork shaking
in fear before she could eat her chicken Vinaigrette salad. Her right hand is in my left hand. Katniss's left hand lays on her
5 month pregnant stomach protectively .

I look up to see it's none other then Gale Hawthorne himself he's standing between Katniss and Finnick. Katniss's squeezing my hand a little tighter she's terrified of Gale. She is looking down at her hand on her 5 month stomach with silent tears on her beautiful face. Gale angrily asks Katniss
to stand up, she does standing up quickly moves to my left side her fiancé, father of her child & her protector Annie is next to her on her right & Finnick stands next to Katniss on her left as a protective barrier..

Gale asks Katniss are you pregnant & by who?, answer me now, damn it Katniss if you don't answer me, so help me god. She says yes Gale I'm  5 months pregnant she says. Finnick Katniss's overprotective non biological brother's holding her his front supporting her back wrapped in his arms. Gale says last time who is the father? Gale asks Katniss. Before she can answer I stand up & say I'm the father of Katniss's baby.

Of course you are Mellark he says Katniss loves big dick you must have a big dick he says. Gale says with a smirk pissing me off for saying that in a public. I tell Gale if you hurt her & our baby I will come after you.

The sunlight reflects off her ring it catches his attention & says what aren't you telling me Katniss? Before she can answer I said I proposed to Katniss and she said yes. Everyone stops what they're doing it's so quiet you could hear a pin drop. They are distracted from their conversation they're not doing it on purpose, it's because Gale was making a scene, and caused them to look at us & listen to what we're saying..

Everyone at their table's disgusted from hearing about Gale, mistreating Katniss the men in the cafe stood, up ready to beat the shit out him. the adult men & the 18 and 19 Year old teenagers were standing, next to their father they were taught to treat girls
and women with, respect & protect them.

They're ready to beat him but their fathers stern look, tell them to let the adults handle the problem "Gale". Katniss has silent tears on her face for their kindness and for caring to defend her who is a complete stranger.

I smiled thanking them mentally & they all nodded to me to say your welcome. I nod to say thank you for your kindness & caring to defend her and giving us your respect.

what Gale said next to Katniss was yours and Peeta's baby will never be born, I will make sure you will never be able to have anymore. I get up hug and kiss Katniss and tell her to stay with Finnick & Annie they'll keep you safe she nods. Gale & I go outside I said, if you don't back the fuck off you'll regret it that is a threat & a promise, I said to him I swear to god if you hurt her to kill our baby and make sure Katniss will never be able to have children, you are going to wish that you would have never met me.
My father will punish you he is protective
of her as he his daughter my twin sister.
Katniss comes outside to be with me & said she wanted to hear, what Gale had to say.

Gale's looking at Katniss & myself & says
message received. I know sorry won't take back what I did to, Katniss. I can see true and sincere regret, he is sorry Katniss, sees it & asks what do you think Peeta? should I accept his apology? If you feel ready, Yes I support every decision you make Katniss.

Will you help get rid of the woman who isn't only my mother she is my daughters mother   too . Posey's everything to me will you help me?. Yes, we'll make sure, she is protected.

I'd never do anything to Katniss or to your unborn children, and I would never keep Katniss from, having children Peeta. I want to ask if & when I earn yours and Katniss's trust, can we be friends he asks her and I.
Katniss & I talk for a couple of minutes we said yes to Gale . I'd never hurt her or your baby & never keep her from having children ‟that's a promise I'll always keep" Gale says honestly thanking us both with a big smile.
