Lindsey's POV

The car ride there is nothing but torture. All it is, is me scrolling through the same exact same pictures on Instagram and refreshing it every once in a while. At least i have my music to keep me occupied from my annoying brother Sean. Not to mention my parents who are the human beings who are forcing me to waste my summer. I could be getting ready for a party right now back home in Florida, but no. Im stuck going on this long ass car ride to hell.

...

"Lindsey, wake the hell up" My brother says. "What?!" I say angry and annoyed. "We're here" He says and gets out of the car. I slowly take my headphones out and shove them in my backpack. I groggily step out of the car and slide my phone into my back pocket. Everybody is already inside as i walk to the back of the car and open the tailgate to grab my suitcase. Just as i'm about to close the tailgate i hear the front door open and a tall figure step outside. It is pretty dark and i can't really tell what this person looks like until he starts to walk toward me. I try not to stare so I turn my head away and shut the tailgate. "Hey, I heard you were out here getting your stuff to come in and I thought i would come and help you." Says the tall guy standing in front of you, holding out his hand for you to give him your suitcase. Is this Sam? The kid you used to play with all the time? I hand it to him and he starts to walk inside as I follow behind him. "Thank you" I say as he walks into the house. The house was big on the outside, but it was big and beautiful on the inside. I loved the southern look and feel. Nobody is around when I walk in and I am kind of confused. But I snap out of it when the boy I am walking behind stops and turns around. It's Sam. Holy shit. I start to run into him but I stop myself and look up at him. Wow. He was extremely tall, causing me to bend my neck a little farther than I thought I would need to. He had light brown hair and a little mole above his mouth. He was truly sexy. "They are out back, would you like me to show you to your room?" He says looking down at me, only standing at about 5'4. "Please." I say as I look down and he starts to walk around the house and up a set of stairs. I follow him into a simple room with a bed and a few southern paintings on the wall. "This is your room, your parents room is to the right and your brother is staying in my room to the left." He said. When he mentioned which room my brother was staying in he sort of cringed and I tried to stifle my laugh and it only turned into a smile. "Thanks for showing me to my room, and i'm so sorry you have to share a room with him." I say, still trying not to laugh but a giggle comes out. "I told them to put you in there, i thought it would be better than him." He says smiling. I smile back shyly. "I don't bite, i mean, only when it's necessary." He says smirking. I blush and look up at him. "Can you uhm, show me where the shower is?" I say. "Yes, but for a dollar, i'll show you the shower and i can get in with you." He says smirking. "Nice try, but ill just take the free directions" I say, blushing. This is definitely Sam. Still a big old flirt. Who does he think I am? "Sounds good." He says smiling as he walks to a closet and gets a towel and washcloth and walks into a door to turn on the light and he sets the them onto the counter. "Here, knock yourself out." He says smiling as he walks out. "Thanks" I say smiling and closing the door.

...

I finish with your shower and grab the towel Sam got for me. When I picked it up, I noticed that it was a lot smaller than it seemed. I then held it up to myself and you realized that it would barely cover my front. I rolled your eyes and made it cover my front the best that it could. When I crack the door open, hoping to make a break for your room, I see Sam sitting in his room with the door open. He looks up at me and busts out laughing. "Not funny, Could you get me another?" I say giving him puppy dog eyes. He smirk and walks to the closet again and looks in it. "There's no more, I guess you're gonna have to make a run for it and hope nobody's behind you." He says smirking. Both of us know damn well that if you did that, he would be behind me. "Go into your room and I will" I say smirking. "Nah, it's really cozy here by the hall closet. I guess you're just gonna have to make a break for it." He says smirking. I roll your eyes and open the door and hold the towel up covering my front with one arm, and try to cover my exposed backside with the other as I sprint to my room for the summer, hearing wolf whistles behind me. I get in the room and shut your door behind me. "Thanks for the show babe, it was pretty nice" I hear from outside of the door. I roll my eyes and open my suitcase and start to pick out something to wear. I settle on a wolf shirt and grey Victorias Secret sweatpants. I put on your outfit and put on deodorant. I put a playlist on with the sound turned a little low and grab my brush. In seconds I hear a knock at the door. "Come in" I say. As I start to brush my hair I see Sam walk in through the mirror. "I love your shirt" He says as I hum along to the song playing on my phone and continue brushing my hair. Me and Sam have liked wolves since we were younger. I don't know if he still wore stuff like this, but I sure did. "Thanks" I say smiling."You know, we should probably go out there, they might think something's happen to us." He says as he sits on the bed. "Okay" I say as I set my brush down on the dresser and put my hair in a bun on top of my head. I follow Sam downstairs and outside. As we start walking over to the fire that is going, Sam's mom and dad and my family start to get up and head inside. They see us and I walk up and give Sam's mom and dad a hug. The last time we saw each other was when I was about ten. It has been a long time. "You look beautiful!" Sam's mom says. "Thanks Renee" I say smiling as I hug her and everybody keeps walking inside. I start to follow behind and I feel a hand grab mine and slowly pull me back. I look back to see Sam. "Stay out here" He says as he looks at me. He doesn't let go of my hand and he pulls me to a small couch made for two and we sit next to each other.

Sam's POV

I haven't seen Lindsey in years, she had gotten so beautiful. We used to get teased about liking each other when we were little but I never thought I would actually like her. "So how have you been?" I say to her as she looks up and watches the flames burn brightly, reaching towards the sky. "I've been fine, you?" She says looking over at me. Her deep light brown eyes were killer. I snap out of it and answer her question. "I'm fine, I still play soccer" I say to her. I look over at her and her mouth is parted lightly and her eyes are closed. I giggle lowly and lighty and I stand up and pick her up bridal style and go through the back door so we don't get teased. I take her to her room and move her cover back and set her on her bed and pull the covers over her as she opens her eyes and looks at me. "Night" I say as I smile at her. "Night" she says and smiles at me back. She closes her eyes and turns over and I walk out of her room and go to my room. I kick off my boat shoes and climb into my bed and slowly start to fall asleep.
