Lindsey's POV

When we get in the car Sam asks me to turn on music. I get out my phone and go on SoundCloud for a change. I open the app and click on one of my favorite people. I turn on the hour mix and Sam easily likes it. "I love it, who is it?" Sam says. "They're called White Panda" I say as he turns it up a bit louder and rolls down the windows. I'm a type of person that loves the windows down, so I'm glad he is too. I put my hand on his thigh and he smirks. "Are you trying to do what you did this morning, or be a tease?" He says driving.

"Well I could always make you hard right before we get there" I say smirking as I ride in the car. "That would be mean" he says, jokingly looking hurt. "You'd be okay" I say smirking. We listen to the music and pass time since the springs is pretty far away. I get on my phone and decide to go on twitter. I scroll down my newsfeed and retweet and favorite a few things. I go look at Sam's profile and smile when I see he made the picture of us with the fish his avi. How cute is he. I view his tweets and start to read them.

"You are perfect"

And

"I think she could get me through anything tbh"

And

"She makes me want to do good things"

I blush when I read that one and I get off his page. Sam is too stinking cute. I open a new tweet and click the camera button. I hold the phone up and Sam sees and I smile. He smiles as hard as he can and scrunches his eyes together. I laugh a I take the picture. "Let me see" Sam says and I show him. "I'm gonna delete I look disgusting" I say smiling as I move the phone away. "No! Don't, seriously, please send it to me first, you look perfect." Sam says glancing at me. "Whatever you say" I say laughing lightly. I DM the picture to Sam and then delete it. "It's not funny, you don't look ugly when you laugh, you honestly never look ugly babe, don't say that" Sam's say sincerely. I blush lightly and I feel my eyes water as I look at the window. Nobody has ever said that to me. I honestly never thought anybody would ever say it to me. "Thank you" I say trying to Brush it off and wait for the small puddle in my bottom eyelid to disappear. "Baby, fuck are you crying?" Sam says. I shake my head. "No Sam" I say as I look out the window. I see the car start to slow down an pull onto the side of the road.

"Sam, really, I'm fine" I say and force a smile at him. He ignores me and gets out of the car. I look in the mirrors a and see where he is going. He walking around to my door and he opens it. "Get out really quick please" he says. I do as he says and I stand by the door. He gets in and grabs my hand and pulls me onto his lap. With the way he move my body to him I'm straddling his thighs as he looks at me.

"I need an answer Lindsey, why do you think you're less than who you are. Who told you that baby, it's okay, you can tell me." Sam says, looking at me straight in the eyes. I can feel my eyes water and I look away from him. "Sam it's really nothing, just an old ex. It just means a lot when you said that." I explain and look back up at him. "I don't want it to mean a lot. I want you to be so fond of hearing how perfect you are, that you start to get annoyed. I want you to wake up and know that you're worth something, to many people, including me." Sam says as I look at him. The watering in my eyes has come back and I feel a tear actually start to drop down my face when I blink. Sam brings his hands up and puts his finger on the side of my head and wipes my tears with his thumbs. "But most of all, I want you to believe that you're beautiful." He says, still wiping my tears as I stare at him. I quickly wrap my arms around his neck and squeeze lightly. He wraps his big arms around my back and pulls me closer to him.

"I love you" I hear him say. "I love you more" I say as I pull away. He leans in and kisses me lightly and I kiss him back. We both pull away at the same time and I look at him. "Thank you Sam, for being Sam, and for caring, and for helping, and for making my life better." I smile. "The pleasure was actually all mine" he says and smiles and pecks my cheek. I laugh and get off of him. He steps out and wraps his arms around me and squeezes tight as I smile. He pulls away and walk to his side.

He gets in and turns the radio low. We're only about five minutes from the springs and I put my hand on Sam's thigh. He smiles at me and puts his on mine and I grin back. "Will you be my girlfriend Lindsey? I don't know if that's a commitment you don't want to make or-" "Sam" I say cutting him off. "I wouldn't want anything more in the world than to be your girlfriend." I say smiling. "But only if you'll be my boyfriend" I say smirking. "Who would say no to that?" He say smiling and I lean over and kiss his cheek. I turn the radio back up and we pull into the road that leads to the springs. We drive down it and when we get there, there's a lot more people than we expected. "Holy fuck" Sam says as I look. "Stay close to me please, I don't want anybody to try anything babe" Sam says and I nod. "Me neither" I says as we both open our doors. I see the girl Sara from the cookout the other night, run up to Sam and hug him. Fucking perfect.
