Chapter 3 where her secrets lie

Pidges Pov
Avery had been living in the castle for almost a month now. She’s pretty quiet, she mostly keeps to her self kind of like Keith but less emo.
With the time she’s been here I’ve noticed that she’s very solitude. She likes her time to her self, I won’t blame her, she just suddenly got herself stuck in a situation she’s never really been in before.

We’ve actually found a little bit of info of her. She likes the colours purple and blue, she likes to read and she wares a lot of heals cause she’s the shortest one out of us all, like I know I’m short but she’s like two or three inches shorter than me without heals on its kinda cute.

A lot of things have happened over the past month like Lotor killing Zarkon and becoming emperor of the galra, me finding my father, Keith coming back from the blade after finding his mother Krolia, hunk and lance finally got the chance to let their families know that their alive and finally Avery. Oh boy what a month it’s been.

I was in my lab working on a new project  when I heard a knock on the door. (?)

“Oh Avery, what brings you here?” I asked why would she want to come to my lab? I had no clue. “Um well I had nothing to do and I think everyone was busy like training or helping Lotor with the rest of the galra or doing their own thing, sorry if I’m intruding on you?” she started to fiddle with the dark purple oversized sweater she was currently wearing.

“ Oh no it’s fine, so what do ya wanna talk about?” I said so she’d relax and it surprisingly worked her tens shoulders relaxed and I motioned her to sit in a spear seat that I had at my desk when ever hunk or Matt was with me.

“um what you up to?” Avery asked about the creation I was doing. “I’m trying to make a new way to scout out the remaining galra that’s not under Lotor's rule. I’ve just had so much free time I honestly don’t know what to do with it.” I replied.

We were just sitting in a comfortable silence till I broke that silence just a few minutes later “Hey let’s play I game.” I said as she jolted as she was starring into space, literally there was a window in my lab and she was starring into the starry abyss of space.

“Um what kind of game?” she replied “this game is simple we ask each other 20 questions about each other and if they don’t wanna say then they do something funny.” I said putting a twist on 20 questions.

“Ok, um what’s your favourite school subject besides science?” Avery asked starting the game. “Oh defiantly maths or technology I’m kind of torn between the two.” I replied.

“ok since I answered what are your favourite school subjects?” I replied generally curious.

“I actually really love art and Theatre I don't know why though? I guess I just find an interest in those subjects I guess.” She said calmly. We were both looking into each other’s eyes. Her eyes were like violet. Those glowingly mesmerizing violet eye captured the universe with all it’s glory. I was lost, lost in a beautiful galaxy of violet.

We then heard a knock on the door again bit this time it was hunk. “ hey pidge, oh and hey Avery just wanna let you guys know that dinner is almost ready.” Hunk let us know and then left. “ I guess we will have to continue this game later then.” Avery then spoke up. “Yeah I guess we do.” I then replied.

Once me and Avery where in the dinning hall/room everyone was there except hunk since he was in the kitchen finishing up dinner.

“Avery, Pidge its finally nice for you to join us” Allura greeted when we entered, she was sitting at the head of the elongated table like she usually was.
