For you to smile
at our first meeting
One elaborated joke
and calculated laughs
To make you feel
that my heart was beating fast
One cliche love song
and your favorite mango pie.
To make you remember
our first night
A long walk,
A couple of funny stories
And a kiss under the stars
For you to know that
I am sorry
A long period of time
And space
And a thousand sighs.
And to place all of these in your thoughts
I dont know,
Maybe a cup
of our favorite coffee
Or a lonely poem
Or perhaps a starry night like this
you can gaze at
hoping they spell my name.
