Chapter 3: A Date, A Sleepover, and An Obsessed Best Friend

Donald's POV:

I get out of Alexa's car feeling apprehensive.

I don't know what to do.

I want to know what bionics are.

I walk I the house.

"Mom! Dad! I'm home!" I yell.

"Donald!" Aunt Julianna exclaims as she runs to me.

She's my mom's sister.

"Hey, Aunt Julianna. How's the baby?" I ask as she hugs me.

"Same as always. Very energetic." She motions towards little Gabriel.

I smile and I try to sneak up on little Gabriel.

"Boo!" I whisper in his ear, and pick him up.

I hear his little kid giggles as I spin him around a bit.

"Donald!" He squeaks.

      I put him down.

     "Aunt Julianna, do you know where my mom is?" I ask.

     She opens her mouth to speak but my mom interrupts.

       "Donald, honey, where's your sister?"

      "I'm good, thanks for asking." I mutter. "She's with Drew, like always. Alexa had to drive me home."

      "Alexa was at the park?"

       "No but I called her."

      My mom glares at me.

     "What? Skyla didn't give me the keys."

      She rolls her eyes.

    I really want to know what Lucy was talking about...

      "Donald?" Mom snaps her fingers in front if my face. "Are you there?"

"Oh, what? Yeah. What did you say?"

       My mom and Aunt Julianna chuckle.

"I asked, how was the show to the park?"

I frown.

"It was sooo boring! The magic is obviously fake. And I met this creepy girl." I throw myself on the couch.

They laugh once again.

I feel a little body land on my stomach.

I look down and see Gabriel sleeping on my stomach.

Okay then...

"What was wrong about the girl?" My mom asks as she sits on the couch next to my head.

I take my phone out and find the video

My mom watches it with Aunt Julianna.

I just lay down and wrap an arm around Gabriel.

Once they're done watching the video they start laughing.

"Its not funny." I say as I take my phone back.

"Yes it is." Aunt Julianna laughs. "My nephew has a little stalker."

Once that is said, Mom and Aunt Julianna roll on the floor with laughter.

"Whatever." I mutter.

"Whats... Her.... Name?" Mom manages to say as she controls her laughter.

"Lucy-"

Ring!

Ring!

Its Liam.

"Hello?"

"Ayee! Wassup?" He yells through the phone.

I roll my eyes, and my mom and aunt Julianna giggle.

"What do you want?"

Rude, I know, but the only reason he ever calls is because...

"Is your cousin, Alexa, there?"

"No, she's not. Dude, she's 2 years older, get over it!" I chuckle.

My mom and aunt Julianna laugh, once again, and stand up.

"I'll let you know that I'm a year older than you, so I still have a chance with her." He says with a serious tone.

"Sure." I tease.

"Whatever, sooo... Can I come over tonight?" He asks.

"For what?"

"Let's play video games all night." He says cheerfully.

"And..."

He sighs.

"Skyla told me Alexa is sleeping over."

There it is!

"There you go, lover boy!" I chuckle. "If you keep telling the truth you'll get Alexa."

"Shut up. So can I come or not?"

"Hold up." I take the phone off my ear and yell.

"Mom! Can Liam sleep over?"

"For what?" She yells back.

"He wants to make a move on Alexa!"

"Who wants to make a what on my daughter?"

Oh crap. Its uncle Marcus.

"Hey, uncle! This guy named Liam, wants to date Alexa, he's in the phone now." I smirk.

I hear Liam gasp.

"Let me talk to him."

I chuckle and give him the phone.

"Hello?"

We all laugh.

"So you're the hooligan that Alexa talks about everyday."

She does?

"Oh yes, she never stops talking about the boy who fell down the stairs for her."

I start cracking up.

Liam was trying to make Alexa look at his "muscles" and he was walking backwards, and Alexa was about to tell him to stop because he was going to fall, but he fell. He had a concussion for a whole two weeks.

"If you're that obsessed with my daughter, then you have my permission to try to win her over."

As if Alexa will ever date Liam.

Haha!

"Here you go, Don. You have a crazy friend." Uncle Marcus says as he gives me the phone.

"Hey!" Liam yells through the phone.

"Ooh I forgot he was still on the line..."

I chuckle.

"Hey, Liam, I won't be here for a while tonight. I have a date. Do you think you can handle being alone for a while?"

"Yes!" He exclaims. "See you later, I need to look my best for Alexa."

Tonight might just be really funny.
