**Chapter Seven**

The boys = Thomas, Eric, Samson and Samuel
            Them = Sapphire and Kaitlyn
            Us = Laurent and Larry

**Long Chapter**

**LAURENT POV**

A week into a four week break, before semester two begins, we traveled to the city to hang with James, Todd, Michaela (Mick) and Angela (Ang), for a spot of retail therapy. 

Larry (Lar) and I were a little excited. In three years, this was the first time we hadn't organised workshops (w/shops) or extra tutoring during the breaks and we were enjoying ourselves.

Over lunch, we all sat at a table talking and laughing
Ang: Guys, have you checked through the packs I gave you about the city academy and filled out the transfer forms - we all looked at Ang
Ang: Come on guy's, the opportunity won't last forever.  The move would be good for you both, the academy wants you. Move back to the city, the clos . . . . .
Me: We're not transferring and we're definitely not returning to the city and that's final - bluntly cutting her off
Ang: Why the hell not, after all the work I done too . . . . . - raising her voice
Lar: We never asked you to do anything for us.  How are you surviving without a job, paying your rent, spending up large - raising his voice cutting her off
Ang: Mind your own business - snapping
Me: Practice what you preach and stay the fuck out of our lives and business - harshly snapping back

The rest of lunch was in silence, although distracted by laughter erupting from a table further back from where we were.  We looked back to see Sapphire (Sapp) and Kaitlyn (Kat) hi-fiving. Jake, Samson (Samm) and Samuel (Samy) at the table, with some cousin's busting out laughing and Kristopher (Kris) covering his face with his hands. We chuckled and continued eating.

**LARRY POV**

After lunch, we strolled to an outdoor courtyard.  The sun was bright, we slipped on our dark shades
Familiar male voice: Larry, Laurent - calling out
We all turned and stopped to see Jake, Samm and Samy approaching.  We all greeted
Laurent (Lau):   How long are you in the city for
Me: We should all get together for dinner at ours before you all leave - both blurting out before anyone could say anything
Jake: Guys, I've sold the cafe' and . . .
Ang: Now your spending up large - cutting him off
Jake: And, we've been staying with Kris for the past two weeks.  Dolls house is almost complete, then we can move in - without missing a beat
We were all surprised
Me: Perfect! Dinner at our's tonight - excited
Jake, Samm and Samy looked past us. We looked back to see Sapp and Kat, sitting on a low stone wall, lighting cigarettes.  By them, two massive wolf hybrids eating a huge watermelon each
Lau: Of course Belle and the dogs can come too, wouldn't have it any other way
Samm: Thomas (Tom) and Eric are with us tonight - quietly
Me: All the better, bring them too - Samm and Samy smiled wide
Jake: We'll have to check with dolls, they may have already organised dinner, come on - we all strolled over to Sapp and Kat
We stayed back a bit as the dog's mangled the melons
Samy: Mum, Laurent and Larry have invited us all to theirs for dinner tonight - cheerily
Me: Anytime from 6.30pm - chiming in
Sapp: Sure, y'all know where Laurent and Larry live
Lau: At Nirvana Beach, private road, beach line, number 10
Ang: You have to buzz them to open the gate for you - piping up
Me: Belle's, guys, can we exchange contacts - both of us pulling out our phones
They do the same and we all swap
Ang: Wholly fuck, where did you get the latest Samsung Edges from, their not even on the shelves yet - shrieking
No one answered, yet again
When we all had our phones, we searched for Sapp and Kat's names.  Lau changed Sapp's name to "Belle" with a heart, I did the same for Kat's.
Sapp: We will bring banana cake and banana steam pudding - our eyes widened and nodded 'okay with big smiles
