**LAURENT POV**
The first day back at the academy, we were early birds. Bright eyed, bushy tailed and rearing to go. We had been on an "excitement high" since Sapphire and Kaitlyn's house warming. We were told Samson, Samuel, Thomas (Tom) and Eric are attending the academy we tutor at and they also take dance. Sapphire (Sapp), Kaitlyn (Kat), Teddy (Ted), Jason (Jay), Rosetta (Rosie), Linda (Lin) and Kristopher (Kris) are returning as tutors. They didn't let on with which arts they tutor tho.
We burst through the doors of the staff room startling almost all the tutors in the room and announced "WELCOME BACK" Dave: Now that's what I like to hear from tutors, enthusiasm, welcome back Laurent, Larry - announcing
We moved about chatting and quietened when we noticed Dave was resting back against a desk, his arms crossed over his chest Dave: Alright, if I say your name, move to the left of me - he rattled off seven names Dave: If I say your name, move to the right of me - he said our names and three others Dave: Right, stay in your groups and follow me - we all did as asked to his office
We were kept in our groups opposite each other and Derek was moved from our group to behind Daves desk. We were reminded of a shake up from the board of trustee's twelve months earlier, claiming they had received numerous complaints from parents and students, stating their curriculums and outcomes weren't being met.
All tutors were offered to apply for co-ordinator roles for their departments, should the curriculums and outcomes not be met in the future. We attended interviews with the board of trustees and two board members attended three unannounced sessions observing Dave: Since the improvements haven't happened, today you find out if you've been successful or not We all looked at each other as Dave moved to another door and opened it. Three board members entered and looked at all of us. We moved and greeted them with handshakes Board member (BMem): We heard Dave speak with you all . . . . . Who is group one - Dave gestured the other group BMem: Thank you for your applications and attending interviews. The applications will be kept on file for future reference's. Unfortunately, this time round you have been unsuccessful Miss Harvey: Can you tell us why, we are all qualified for the positions BMem 2: At each of the sessions we observed, you all lacked the inspiration of the art you tutor. We left each session wondering why we were at this academy - bluntly, the group was dismissed BMem: Derek, it was difficult for the board to decline your application but made it easier for the board to decided in offering you, the position of Head of Music Department - we all gasped We moved to Derek and congratulated him and returned to where we were standing BMem 2: Damon, Michelle, the board would like to offer you co-ordination roles in the dance department, covering curriculums ballroom and tap dance We congratulated them with handshakes BMem 3: Laurent, Larry, the board would like to offer you co-ordination roles in the dance department, covering ballet and Contempurary Us: What about 'Hip Hop - concerned BMem: There are no problems with hip hop - with that we did a little happy dance The board members congratulated all of us and left the office.
**LARRY POV**
We all returned to the staff room. Dave announced our new positions, we were congratulated. Again we all quietened when we saw Dave leaning back against the desk, with arms crossed. He tells everyone the vocals department requires two curriculum co-ordinators, as does the music department. The arts department requires three Dave: Since these roles were not filled by staff, the board of trustees advertised for outsiders. We have seven experienced returning tutors for these roles, two of them you have met . . . Sapphire and Kaitlyn - Miss Harvey gasped Dave: Alright you lot come on in - calling out Ted, Jay and them entered, Sapp and Kat looked cute (see sample pic above). Dave introduced everyone Dave: Okay, for the arts department, Rosetta, Linda and Kristopher. For vocals, Teddy and Jason. For music, Sapphire and Kaitlyn Us: Say that again - shocked Kris: Y'all heard right, sis and cousin tutor music - chuckling
They moved about meeting and greeting. The five female vocal tutors stepped aside and spoke in their native tongues, something we were use too. When Sapp and Kat greeted us, we did the same as we did at the housewarming when we greeted. We kissed their fingers, closed their left hands and fiddled with the dainty platinum and diamond rings on their middle fingers, remembering they represent them and their twin (see sample pic)

Miss Harvey: Welcome aboard, hope you enjoy your time here - Sapp and Kat answered in a language we didn't understand. By the female tutors shocked expressions, they understood and turned and walked away Dave: Munchkins, what did you say - Sapp and Kat answered in another language Dave: You didn't - shocked Kris: Yeah, they did - as he Ted, Rosie and Lin nod 'yes Dave: I'm sorry munchkins, I didn't know - quietly in French Them: It's okay Dave, we got this - in French We looked at each other curiously
At lunch we wondered about and saw Sapp, Kat and them under a tree with the boys, Rascal, Sonic and another two massive wolf hybrids named Midnight and Nugget. Dave and Derek were with them too. We approached, they were speaking yet another language. The boys moved to us and bro hugged, we joined them Us: May we ask the language Derek: Cherokee, today I learn my papa teach Sapphire, Kaitlyn and them all the dialect many moons ago Lau: You all know each other - they all nod 'yes Dave: I hear you went to Sapphire and Kaitlyn's housewarming on Saturday - we smiled and nodded 'yes Derek: I didn't even know - sulking Them: Derek we're sorry, we didn't know where y'all were Derek: I know yoghurt, had I been here the day you visit the academy Dave: And had we talked about our childhoods Derek: Can you bring me muffins tomorrow - pouting Dave: Me too . . . . Pwweessseee Kat: Laurent, Larry, would y'all like muffins tomorrow - we nod 'yes with delight Sapp: Fine, y'all get what y'all are given too Tom: Mum y'all know we love you Dave: What about Derek and me - Sapp and Kat looked at them Derek: We know, you already killed us in your head several times - we all laughed
