chapter three

Hanniel POV

I came home and found my dad watching TV.
That's unusual.

"Mom". I called out.
"Your mother isn't home yet" my dad said
"Oh, dad you're home?"

       No response.

"What happened dad?"
          No response
   "Dad?"
 
He just turned towards my direction but still no response

"I have a favor to ask."

Still no response.

This is definitely my dad. He never changes.
  
"Amrose mother is going to the Lord's mountain for a week and Amrose doesn't have where to stay so I was thinking she could stay with us for a while Dad?" I asked.

But still no response

"Dad can she stay with us"
"Yes"
finally

"Really dad?"

No response

"Thanks Dad"

Even though my dad don't talk much to me,I know he still loves me.
I left for my room, I just can't wait to tell Amrose about this Tomorrow.

Mom works at the heavens mall. It's my favorite place to be and when I get older I'll make sure I work there also.

Next day at school.

"Rose!" I yelled.
"Rose!". But still she didn't notice me
Infact everyone didn't notice me. That's strange
They were all engrossed in the school's notice board.

"Wait. What's going on".  I asked
"Oh hanni you're here ". She seemed happy So I'm guessing it's not bad stuff.

"Yes. What's going on."
"Hanni.. You're gonna love this."

"Ok.."   I hope I will
"The school's throwing a party for us" she cheered
"Why??"
I don't like this. Infact I don't like parties.

"Why? You're so silly. It's for our graduation. Don't worry nothing bad will happen." She assured

"That's what you said the last time"

"No no hanni. Last time didn't go well and I know it'll never make you party again but seriously this is a graduation party ,you got to be there."

"That's if my dad will let that happen"
"Yes speaking of your dad. What did you tell him.." And now she got all serious

"What do you mean?, I'm confused"
"Your dad called my mom and gave her a lashing" she tensed.

"What??" I'm Soo shocked
"Don't at all shocked hanni" wow. She read my mind

"No seriously. Rose I told my dad about letting you stay and he said yes."
"Good" she smiled. Wait she smiled?.
"Why are you smiling."

"That's because I got what I needed" she relaxed
"Huh?" I'm so confused right now

"I needed to hear you say that so I don't need to apologise to Zack."
"What?"
That really is one sneaky girl.

"I know he's your crush so..."
"Who is who's crush?" Aaron asked...

Oh God why me.
 
Aaron is part of our friendship circle but he shouldn't know I have a crush on Zack. Even Zack shouldn't know either.
"No one ". I said while blocking Amrose mouth with my hand.
This should keep her quiet for a while.

"Oh. Have you seen the announcement" Aaron asked.
Thanks for changing the subject Aaron.

"Yes"

"So you're coming right." Aaron asked

"That's for my father to decide. Not me".
I know I wanted to come but what if my dad refuses. You can never be too sure, I guess

"I'll convince him if you want". Aaron said

"No worries. I should be able to do just that".

"You know he'll listen to me"  he added

This is what I hate.

"Aaron, just because you're Adonia's son doesn't mean you can change the world."

Like I said this is what I hate. Years ago Adonia losed his son in a battle with his brother Lucifer, at least that's what I've been told.
       That's why the Angels got separated but now he has Aaron, who will soon be king but still that don't mean he could make the world go round..

"I'm sorry if that upsets you but I was just trying to help." Aaron said.

"Hey!!! Hello I'm still here ,you know" Amrose popped up.

I've totally forgotten about her and her big mouth.

           Aaron left without a word and I know I've probably hurt his feelings but I didn't know how to handle the situation.
   
    Today just isn't my day, I guess.
