Part Two

"He used you to be in the football team. Because I told him so." Marcus grinned evily. Enjoying the view of Harry on the verge of crying.

"Why?" Harry asked quietly, still looking at Zayn's eyes.

"I'm sorry, Harry. I just need to... do something." Zayn tried to explain,

"And that includes to fucking play with my feelings?" Harry hissed through his teeth.

"Harry, I tried not to. Believe me. I talked to him that I can't, but he's just--"

"Just admit it, Zayn. You never loved Harry. You just want to make it to my team." Marcus cut him off. Really wanting to see Harry in pain that he caused.

"I trusted you." Harry said under his breath. Not having all the strength to be mad all the way.

"I'm sorry, Harry. My dad... he's expecting me to make it to the team." Zayn defended, guiltily. Still unable to make any eye contacts.

"I hope your dad will be happy and be proud of you, making it to the team by breaking someone's heart." Harry angered up slowly.

"No doubt why your girlfriend died. Because all you think is yourself, Zayn." Harry finishes and walking away.

Zayn breathed heavily as he process the words Harry had said. He feel so horrible. He really didn't want this to happen. He really ruined everything.

"Welcome to the team, Malik." Marcus beamed and he tried his best to cope up with his new surrounding of people.

Zayn was sitting silently on their lunch table altogether with his new team.

This team has way more different to Harry's band. They aren't friendly like Niall, they aren't caring like Liam, they aren't a good companion like Louis, and most of all, they aren't sweet like Harry.

He's starting to ask himself. Was he worth it? Is it worth it?

"I really didn't think he'd go that low for just being in that fucked up football team." Zayn head snapped up as he heard a familiar voice.

He saw Louis and Liam passing by their lunch tabe, giving him a look like he'd done something dirty for dirty people. He really feel sorry.

He closes his eyes just as he hopes that'll be over.

Every football practice they have, Zayn was far from being good. Their coach's always scolding him for not paying attention.

He calmed himself and tried his best to focus. Do it, Zayn. Don't screw this up too. This is what you want, right?

One friday night, he purposely didn't attend football practice to secretly watch the band's performance at the Central Park. It's been three fridays without him performing.

He sang along with the crowd, under his hoodie. He misses it. He have to admit. But he knows they won't accept him again. They ruined their trust. Especially Harry's.

So he did what he think is right.

"Dad, I'm sorry. I quit from the team. I'm not happy. I don't feel right. I know I'm always disappointing you. But I need to be true to myself." Zayn explained, sobbing quietly on the phone thay evening he called his dad.

"Son, you never did. I just want you to be on the team for you to have a life again. You told me you don't want to sing again because she died. That's why I encouraged you on the footie. But if you aren't happy, it isn't worth it, son." His father told him and he couldn't get more thankful.

Everyday, Harry frowns whenever he glance at the football team and Zayn was nowhere near them. He wonder why as to he never seen Zayn in college for weeks now.

He scolded himself that doesn't need to care. That he shouldn't be searching for the guy who broke his heart for the first time.

He shook all the thought away. His friends, knows he's acting all was right and perfect. But they can see through his eyes that he's not.

Everytime they perform, or they rehearse, Harry was crying. He's tired of it. It's not worth it.

So after the performance that friday night, he drove straight to the bistro to enjoy his night with his friend Luke.

"How's life, mate?" Luke asked.

"Still unfair." He mumbled, sipping on his drink. Luke chuckled.

They talk about things and Harry successfully got his mind off of Zayn. But not until he heard his familiar voice.

His heart stopped from beating and his world stopped to turn when he saw Zayn, sitting on that high chair on the mini stage, holding a mic and singing infront of many people.

"This ain't real." He spoke, still staring at the beautiful creature who happens to be, his ex-boyfriend.

"Zayn? Yeah. He just took the offer and got the job to be regular here." Luke informed him and his mouth parted.

He can't believe he's now seeing Zayn where he first saw him three months ago. Where his heart first beat strangely for a stranger.

"You got to be kidding me." He looked at Luke with his big eyes. Luke just shook his head. He gasped silently and looked back to find an empty mini stage.

He's gone again. He sighed while he finished his drink and bidding good bye to Luke.

He crossed pass the crowd and stumble from a chair, falling on the floor.

He laughed at himself as how clumsy he can be.

"Here." His head snapped up, seeing Zayn offering a hand to him.

He bit his lip and hesitantly took it but pulled away again from the tingling feeling it gave them both.

Zayn felt it. And it felt so right.

He initiated and gently pulled Harry up.

"Zayn..."

"What are you doing here?" Harry asked.

"Following my heart." Zayn answered truthfully.

Harry's breath was snatched from him on what he heard.

"Why? What happened?" Harry asked again.

"You are the reason, Harry. You just didn't give me reason to sing again. You are exactly the reason." Zayn admitted, pulling Harry closer to him.

"You are not just someone, Harry. You are my special someone."
