The night of October 10th was a night everyone in the Hidden Leaf Village would remember, but it started normally just like any other night. On this night, the wheel of fate turned, and legends are born. Let's begin, shall we?

A woman's scream could be heard from the outskirts of the village. "Aahhhh!! Ittai yō, dattebane!!" Apparently, the screaming woman is in labor, which evidently hurts a lot... added to the fact that she is going to give birth to twins!
The midwife beside her said "Just a little more, Kushina-chan! Push on the count of three! One... Two...!" The woman in her twenties on the altar is a beautiful one, with long blood red hair and violet amethyst eyes.
The man beside her, the same age as her with sun-kissed blonde hair and cerulean blue eyes is sweating bullets, with reasons being that he is worried for his wife and soon to be born children all the while expending a lot of energy to hold the demonic beast inside his wife within a seal.
A few more pushes later, a baby boy with his father's eyes and hair came out. And around 4 minutes later, a baby girl with her father's hair and mother's eyes arrived too.
"Congratulations, Kushina-sama and Minato-sama! Your babies are by far the healthiest and calmest babies I've ever seen! Especially the girl, her eyes looks so curious of her surroundings. Would you like to name them now?" the midwife asked.
Minato and Kushina glanced at each other and shared a wide grin. They have agreed that Minato would get to name the girl and Kushina will be naming the boy.
Minato started "The girl's name will be Namikaze Uzumaki Naruko" "And the boy's name will be Namikaze Uzumaki Naruto" Kushina finished.
The midwife holding the babies handed them to Kushina, but shortly after, she suddenly fell forward and the ANBU bodyguards outside the caves entrance also collapsed. The midwife near the cave entrance also fell and the babies in Kushina's arms are snatched away from her.
A masked man is holding the babies with a kunai to their necks and Minato also held his customized kunai in his hand towards the masked man. The masked man said "Hand me the jinchuuriki or else the babies who have been born for just a minute or two will die."
Minato is in a pinch. On one hand, he wants to keep his wife who had just given birth safe and on the other, he wants to protect his new born children.
While Minato is distracted, the masked man had tossed the babies into the air and luckily, Minato caught them but realized that there are paper bombs stuck on the babies blankets and quickly took them off but the masked man had used the time in between to grab Kushina and disappear somewhere.
Minato teleported to his house using the technique that earned him his infamous nickname, "The Yellow Flash of Konoha", the hiraishin (Flying Thunder God). After securing the babies in their crib, he got ready to rescue Kushina and battle the recently released Nine-Tailed Fox.
He also teleported Kushina to the house soon too, with the babies. He summoned the toad boss, Gamabunta and marked the Nine-Tailed Fox to teleport him to the outskirts of the village so as to not afflict so much damage to the village.
Minato battled the masked man and broke his control on the Nine-Tails. Contrary to popular belief, the Nine-Tailed Fox is actually very friendly but lazy fox that is a good friend to both Kushina and Minato.
Minato eventually decided that the damage afflicted on the village had been to much, and is forced to seal the Nine-Tails in his newly born children. Kurama, the Fox, eventually agreed, and willingly be separated into his Yin and Yang form to be sealed in the two babies.
The Yin form into Naruko, and the Yang form into Naruto. In the middle of the sealing process, Minato nearly depleted his chakra reserves and overtaxed himself, when Kushina came to his aid and they successfully sealed the beast in to the twins.
Hiruzen Sarutobi, the Third Hokage eventually arrived at the sealing location and got to hear a very exhausted Minato and Kushina's last words.
Kushina said to her children "Naruto... Naruko... don't be a picky eater, eat a lot and grow big and strong! Take your bath everyday... go to bed early and sleep well.
Study hard on your Ninjutsu... I was never very good at it... maybe you will... everyone is good at some things and not so good at others... and if things don't go so well... don't get so depressed.
At the academy, listen to your teachers. Make friends! It doesn't matter how many... just make sure that they're people you can really trust.... and a few is enough!
Regarding the Three Prohibitions of the shinobi, be careful when you loan and borrow money, make sure to save your missions pay carefully, and no drinking alcohol until your 20... too much sake is harmful for your body.
As for girls and boys... well... I'm a girl so I don't really know what to say... but sooner or later, you'll want a lover and that's normal... just... don't fall for a strange one... try to find someone... like me. Oh... one more thing... watch out for Jiraiya-sensei... dattebane!
Naruto... Naruko... there's going to be hard and painful times ahead... take good care of yourself...! Find a goal... a dream... and don't stop trying until it comes true!
There's... there's... there's so much more I want to tell you... to teach you... I want to stay with you longer... I love you."
Minato also said his final words "Naruto... Naruko... This is your dad. Listen... To your nagging motor mouthed mother."
He also said to Hiruzen "Sarutobi, I want my children to be seen as the hero of the villages. Also, after this, me and Kushina will likely fall into a coma for 16 years, so please do take care of our children. Thank you, Sarutobi."
The old reinstated Hokage watched as Minato and his wife fainted and entered their long-term coma. He answered quietly "I will, Minato. I will"
The dog masked ANBU behind the old man had heard everything, and swore silently to himself that he would do everything in his power to protect the two babies.
Hiruzen asked for this very ANBU to take Minato and Kushina's bodies to the special room for people in comas at the hospital, and soon, a man with long white hair and a woman with dirty blonde hair appeared behind Hiruzen.
They are two of the legendary Sannin, Jiraiya the Toad Sage and Tsunade Senju the Slug Princess. Apparently, they also heard everything, and decided to help take care of the two babies, as before the babies were born, those two had been announced as the babies godfather and godmother respectively.
With important decisions made, the old Hokage decide to not let anyone know about the sealed fox, but announces the fact that the villagers beloved Yondaime Hokage is not dead but in a coma and that he left his two heirs, legacies, in the forms of Namikaze Uzumaki Naruto and Naruko.
And thus, begins the legend of the twins.
