*The next day*
Today is Wednesday. I get up, smiling. Then I go get ready for school. As my mom (Lisa) drops me off to school, I say "Love you mom! See you later" "by honey!" She then leaves... I'm walking on campus and I see Damon. We made eye contact. Oh no, he's walking towards me!! Great. "Hey!" He says. "Hi". "I saw you yesterday." "Are you new?" "Uhh, yea, I am." "Why does everyone keep asking me that?!" "Haha, well everyone likes to know everyone, so if we see a new face, everyone gets excited." "Oh." I said, blushing. "Hey, I'm Damon." He takes out his hand from his pocket for me to shake. He seems pretty nice. I take his hand nervously and say, "hi, I'm Katherine." "Katherine, that's a cute name.." I blush so hard. "Haha, thanks." "Damon's an ok name I guess." He smiles. His smile is perfect. I blush. He says, "You know your blushing right?" "Oh um I-I." He starts laughing. "Its ok, your kinda cute when you blush." I start smiling and blushing even more. We stand there a couple of minutes just staring at each other, blushing and smiling. Amanda then comes up to us and says, "Hey Katherine were gonna get late for-
"Oh!" "Sorry bad timing?" "Um no it's ok, I wouldn't wanna be late on my second day." I said. "I'll see you later Damon!" I give him a smile and walk away with Amanda. The morning goes by so fast and we don't even notice. But what we did notice was that it was almost time for- *lunch bells ringing* LUNCH!!! Me and Amanda quickly put our books away in our lockers and rush down to the cafeteria. We sat with the same people from yesterday. (Max,Wess, Kate, and Amanda and me.) Wess and Max talk about boys stuff, as usual, and me, Amanda, and Kate talk about our mornings. Amanda said "Hey Katherine, why don't you tell us how your morning went..." I sit there awkwardly and say "um, well it was the same as yesterday's." Then Amanda said, "really??" "Then why were you talking to Damon?! I start blushing. Kate says "wait, hold up." YOU WERE TALKING TO DAMON HALE??!!!" I start stuttering and say "um yea I-I-he- um, he said my name was cute." Kate says, "OMG!" "I can totally see you guys together." "Hashtag datherine!!" *we all start laughing* then lunch is over and me and Amanda are walking to our next class. (Forgot to mention were in the same grade...sorry.) I see Damon and he smiles as we walk past him. I start smiling. Amanda gives me *the look*
Then, before we know it, schools over. I walk home by the way. My house is near the school. I begin walking and I notice Damon finally getting out of school. He notices me and joggs towards me. He says,"Hey!" "Wait up!" I laugh at how hard he's trying to get my attention. I playfully ignore him and start walking faster. I then begin running. He eventually catches up to me and says "Hey, where are you going?" I start laughing and say, "I was trying to ignore you." He smiles and says "Oh come on, we both know I'm faster than you." "I laugh and say "Oh!" "Really?" I start running as fast as I can. I see my house not to far away and finally reach it. After 10 minutes, he catches up to me and out of breath he says "Wow, you...are..super...fast." "Haha, i beat you." He playfully catches me and picks me up. We both start laughing and blushing. When he finally puts me down, I stare in his eyes with a smile and he smirks. He then gives me a kiss. I, of course, kiss him back. He finally notices and says, "woah, this is your house?!" "Haha, yeah." "It is." I walk in and say, thanks for walking me home. I'll see you tomarrow. I give him a smile and then close my door....
