Early mornings

I cuddled besides Jai as I quickly checked the clock. 7:00 a.m. Ew, why am I up at this ungodly time? I tossed and turned for about fifteen more minutes before I finally gave up and turned on the television

As I was about to switch to MTV to see if my new music video was playing for,"Problem", the news, for the first time in forever ,caught my eyes.

On the screen was a slideshow of adorable babies sucking on lemon for the first time! "Awwww! Too cute!" I said, a little too loud causing Jai to awake. His brown hair went in every direction yet, he still looked handsome. He turned and his beautiful green eyes that just makes a girl want to melt met mine. He leaned into my lips and slowly gave me a small kiss on my lips then, on my small nose. I smiled and broke the silence. " Morning babe. Sorry for waking you but , there was a slide show of babies sucking on lemons and they were just so cute!" I said in one breath.

"It's okay,Ari. I can't wait until we have one" ,Jai said in his warm and sexy morning voice as he winked at me. I smiled and blushed. I mean, me and Jai were practically adults now. The thought of having a young baby, crawling around with his tree green eyes and my dimple would be amazing. I think Jai and I would be ready to take care of a young child to call ours. After realizing I was day dreaming, I quickly mumbled," Me too", as I crawled out of bed.

Today, Jenette and I planned to visit a local adoption center and spend the whole day there. Not only were we promoting,"Sam and Cat", but, we planned to see kids smile! I just hoped this visit would calm th tension between us. I missed the old us, where we would always hang out. I shook the memories out of my head and stripped to go take a shower.

I locked the door and placed my clothes in the overflowing hamper. It's funny because half of the clothes in there belong to Jai. He comes over ever so often when he isn't busy making videos with his brothers. Just thinking about him brings a smile to my face. The smile sticked to my face as I turned the shower faucet on. I waited until the warm water was available and stepped into the shower. The warm drops of water hit my skin and caressed my body . My shoulders relaxed and I allowed my head to fall back. Showers solve even the worlds biggest problems.

After fifteen minutes, I stepped out of the shower and the cold air hit my naked body. I quickly tiptoed to the towel shelf and wrapped myself in a large blue towel. I opened the bathroom door to be met by Jai who scooped me up in his hands and carried me to the bed.

"JAI, PUT ME DOWN!" , I yelled between my laughter. He finally plopped me onto the bed as I fixed my towel . I stared up into his big eyes and he stared into mine as the only thing that filled the air was the sounds of our breaths. Jai looked into my eyes and I watched as they trailed down to my lips and back up again .

Oh Jai, so predictable.

I wrapped my arms around his neck as my lips made their way towards his. Once they touched, I felt the connection I had with this boy grow. Every time we touch, I feel like I'm just on top of the world. Man, I really just love Jai.

After one minute, I pulled away and teased Jai by sticking my tongue out. I saw his lips turn into a frown as I laughed and walked into the bathroom to brush my teeth.

Today would be a good day.
