Scary experiences

WEDDING

This is a story that my mom told me. It was the scariest experience she's ever had and I know many of you will find it hard to believe. I 100% believe it becouse my mom is not a type of person to lie about something like that and she's not the only one who experienced it, so there's no way she was just seeing things.

So, my mom's childhood best friend (who she still keeps in touch with) was finally getting married and my parents went to the wedding. They came there the night before and since my mom and her literally grew up together, there was a lot of people my parents knew.My mom and dad got placed into apartment with our good family friends, we'll call them Jessica and John.
The apartment was a few streets away from the hotel they met up in so my mom and Jessica decided to walk over there and get some sleep. On the other hand,my dad and John stayed in the hotel a bit longer to catch up with some friends.
Jessica and my mom didn't know exactly where the apartment was but they knew it was a few streets away and they'll recognize it by my parents car that my dad parked in front of it earlier.
They saw a street full of apartment complexes and assumed that their apartment was there.The street was very dark and Jessica was scared to go there so they decided my mom would go and call Jessica if she sees their car.
As my mom started walking in the street, she felt goosebumps all over her body, and had no idea why. It was a warm spring night, she wasn't cold.
On the left side of the street were apartments, and on the right was a short stone wall behind which was a large yard of some apartment.The apartment was completely in dark,the only light was comming from a candle in front of the door.
At that point Jessica came after my mom since she's been gone for awhile and was standing right next to her, just as shocked as my mom was. What they saw was therrefying.
Above the candle, there was a woman floating. Her hair was covering her face. My mom and Jessica just knew they shouldn't be seen and walked away from that street as quiet as possible.
After they left the street goosebumps emediately dissapeared and they started talking about what they just saw.Still therrefied, they tried to joke to ease the situation. One of them jockingly said "Imagine if our car was parked on the other side of that apartment".
After they entered the next street, they didn't have to imagine it anymore.There was their car, parked on the other side of that house.
A few minutes after they arrived in the apartment, my dad, John and bride's brother (also my mom's good friend) came too.They told them the whole experience and all the men were scared as well, but bride's brother didn't believe it. He decided to walk around the house and see for himself what was happening on the other side,but after he walked about halfway there, he simply couldn't to it and came back with the biggest goosebumps. He believed them now.
The next day my mom found out who stayed in that apartment, and it turned our to be one of the wedding guests and his girlfriend.

I don't really know who that guy was but my mom told me she has been in his company a couple of times and that he was an energetic and happy guy.
Also, she found out after that he was telling his friends that he'd break up with his girlfriend for over 2 years now (they dated for 5 years) but never proceed to actually do it.

After my mom saw that man herself, she couldn't believe it was actually him. He looked unhealthy,like he lost a lot of weight in a short period of time and had hard time concentrating on what other people were saying to him.It almost felt like he was hypnotized or on something.

About 6 months after the wedding, my mom finally told this story to a bride.The woman was shocked, and also confirmed the two did break up shortly after her wedding.

Idk about you, but this screams witchcraft to me. I believe that woman controlled her boyfriend somehow and idk what she was doing that night, but her intentions weren't good.
