Chapter 4 : Tragedy

One evening, I have found a letter from my lovely husband to Alice Fairfax. I was really angry, I thought that this Alice was my friend. Mr Fairfax, his husband, knows Alec for years. I got on with Alice because they were of very great friends of my husband. It was only by interest, I knew that Alice would eventually fall in love with the charm of Alec. But before reflecting to kill Alice, I had to discuss it with Alec.

But when I went to talk to him about it, I found him writing a letter telling her that he was leaving me. I couldn't believe my eyes, I was bewildered.

Thus I returned a little later to Alec's office, just after 11pm. I took the vase which was put on Alec's library. I recognized him at once : it was the vase which had been offered to us the day of our marriage. Then, I struck Alec of all my strengths with this vase which I held between my hands trembling of rabies. A single blow had been enough to kill him. Nevertheless I have to continue to strike him several times with this vase which took little by little a reddish color.

I was not any more me even, I did not control any more my movements. The jealousy which I carried to this woman had been transformed into uncontrollable hatred. Love leads to the anger then to the hatred. How has he able to deceive me? How was he able to believe that he could get rid of too simply? I gave everything to him, I left my family, my city, my few ties for him.

I thought that we would have a happy life, that we would like each other for all the life ... I struck. If he does not want anymore of me am going to kill him, then to kill this naughty boy Fairfax, and finally to kill me in my tour. I cannot live without him because it is love of my life, my lighthouse, the angel who took out me hell in which I was. 

I always loved my husband, but I killed him, I assure you I did not want him, I was not myself anymore during this act ...

Today, I regret my act. I want to join my husband in the death, and so our love will last the eternity.
