Chapter 10-The reason why

The sun is rising. It is around 07:00 a.m. Everyone is sleeping. I just woke up, and I think that I am going to get up, and make breakfast for all of us, and then I am going to wake up the others. The police said that the detective will be here at 09:00. I am heading to the kitchen. But there was someone standing there. It is Christopher. Apparently, I wasn't the only one that couldn't sleep more.

"Cecilia."

"Christopher."

"You woke up early. I was going to make breakfast for all of us, and then wake you guys up. We have to have eaten before the detective comes here. We have to discuss what we are going to tell him about Nick."

"What do you mean by that? We are going to tell him everything that we know. Every detail matters. It's different now. We have to tell them every single thing that we know. If we really want to find him."

"Yes, I guess you are right. Let's make breakfast together."

"Okay. Oh David. You're up."

"Yes. Are you guys making breakfast?

"Yes, you can help if you want to, bro. We won't mind."

"Ha-ha. Anyways, fine. I will help you."

"I think that Katherine and Ofelia, will be sleeping until noon if we don't wake them up."

"You are forgetting your lovely boyfriend Cecilia. How could you?"

"Oh don't worry David, he will wake up by himself around 08:00. We know him, don't we?"

"Yeah, you're right."

"Please tell me that you are not making vegan breakfast."

"I am making vegan breakfast Chris. Υou should go vegan too guys."

"Oh my God Cecilia, don't start. I just woke up."

"Ha-ha, man you're right." David said to Christopher.

"David, can you wake up the others?"

"Yeah baby."

"Are you drunk?"

"Hah no I'm just kidding. I know I am not that funny sometimes." David said and we are laughing. We know him, he always had a weird sense of humor.

"Morning looooves." Calvin said. What the fuck? The boys act like they are drunk today. It's kind of funny though.

"Morning Calvin. Brush your teeth first, or else I am not going to kiss you." I told Calvin, and then we all laughed.

"In about half an hour, the police will be here to discuss with us about Nick. So I suggest that we go get ready, eat breakfast, and be ready when the cops show up with the detective." Katherine told us.

"Wait, I thought that they would send only a detective, without cops." Calvin said.

"I don't know but it doesn't matter. Guys?" I said.

"What?" David answered.

"It's nothing, but I mean, why do you think happened to Nick? Why does he hate us so much, that he was willing to kill us?"

"I don't –" David was about to say something but the bell is ringing. It must be the police, but why are they here so early? I feel that something is wrong.
