My younger brothers Poseidon and Zeus are prodigies. They were better kings, warriors and adventurers than I ever was. We murdered our father. I was in his stomach far longer than anyone. I realised that I inherited many of father's bad traits including Jealously. Despite this, I knew Upperworld needed them. As a superior species, for humanity's sake, I couldn't let them rule the lowly Underworld.

During the lottery, I cheated. I don't regret. Despite their talents, their hands were shaking.

"Zeus's hands were shaking!?" the little hellhound asks.

"Yes! Even the mighty Zeus was scared of the world unknown. A domain where life ended. You see... I am a calculative man. Whoever chose to rule Underworld was going to be detested and hated by humanity. So I ended even an ounce of uncertainty and patted my brother's shoulders... I smiled and volunteered to rule Underworld."

"But why!?" The little boy asks. His tearful eyes are full of pity and respect for me. "How can someone choose hell?"

I embrace him with a hug and answer, "Because real heroes do not seek glory."

I was glad that I chose Hell instead of Olympus. Because when I found it, it was a rocky desert with souls aimlessly wandering around and I turned it into a city of discipline and prosperity.
