There was no doubt that everybody was going to fall asleep after savouring my macaroni and cheese and I was right, since both mum and the boy were fast asleep on either side of me. It finally gave me some peace and some silent time to think and just relax by myself.

The first thought that pops into my head is about my new friend. I wonder what his name is, and how exactly he found my apartment with having only meeting me once. Has he actually been here before in secret and he's just that quick enough for me to not notice?

I realise that he didn't ever introduce himself to me when we first met about a week ago. It felt weird knowing this guy yet not knowing what to call him. He was in quite a hurry after I introduced myself to him, so maybe he didn't have much time to do so.

'What time is it?' I heard the boy ask and I notice him stirring a little bit, his eyelids opening to reveal his chocolate brown coloured irises. He looks at me expectedly.

I check my iPhone, which revealed the time to be quarter past two, and I told him that. He nods before closing his eyes again to sleep away the rest of the afternoon most likely.

There was no way that was going to happen.

I was already bored out of my mind and there would be nobody to talk to. My hands grip his sides and began to shake him from side to side. 'Don't leave me alone and bored!' I scream as the shaking gets quicker with every second. He then groans and tries to slap my hand away.

'You could've just told me that,' He moans while looking at me. 'Instead of shaking the absolute crap out of me. I would've woken up either way and provide you with company.'

I grin cheekily. 'Sorry.' I fake pout.

He rolls his eyes while still grinning at me. 'Somehow that apology didn't seem genuine but I still accept,' He then gets into a sitting position. 'What would you like to know about me?'

I ponder for a moment. 'What's your name?'

He smiles at my question. 'My name is Charlie Duncan,' He smiles with a nod. 'I didn't get to tell you before because I was in a bit of a rush after you introduced yourself to me. If you are wondering how I discovered your apartment, it was all behind the scenes ninja type crap.'

The name Charlie sounds very nice, definitely suitable to this guy. I still ponder what he meant by the behind the scenes stuff, but I decide to not question it since it might not be important.

I then notice his grin falter a bit and I look at him with confusion. 'I also need to tell you something if this is the start to a brand new friendship,' I nod slightly as he takes a deep breath. 'I'm actually autistic and I have a mild intellectual disability. I have never had many friends because of being a bit different and it used to simply ward potential friends off.'

I look at him with pure surprise, he has exactly the same special needs as I have! This has never happened to me before and I'm so happy it eventually did.

'That's actually great because I have the exact special needs as you,' He instantly lit up when I told him. 'I haven't ever met anybody who thinks like me and it's such a relief to meet you!'

He grins extremely brightly. 'It's a relief to meet you too!'

We both smile at each other before he gets off the couch. 'I'm sorry for always being the person who is in a rush but I have to go once again,' He nods. 'It was nice talking to you again and your macaroni and cheese was the best one I have tasted so far! See you later then I guess.'

I wave as he exited, and then closed my eyes to have a bit of a rest.
