Fog At Night

Chapter One

As Taylor rushed outside with her bags, her mother quickly opened the door.

"Goodbye darling! Have fun! And don't do drugs. I swear to God, if you do drugs, drink or have-"

"Ok MOM! I won't, I promise. Love you!"

"Love you too!!"

Taylor was going to her best friend's house for a sleepover. What her mom didn't know, is that tons of boys would be there. If she found out, she would FLIP! As Taylor drove up in her drive way, hurrying and rushing, she grabbed her bags and knocked on Hazel's door.

"Hey Tay! This is gonna be the best sleepover EVER! My parents are out of town, so we can do whatever we want. So come on in, put your stuff in my room."

As Taylor waddled to Hazel's room, carrying thousand pound bags, Hazel kept talking.

"Guess. Who. I. Invited."

Taylor struggled to respond.

"Oh gawd, did you invite Josh?"

"YES," Hazel excitedly responded.

After Taylor put her things down, she gave Hazel a worried look. Hazel made a face.

"What's up," Hazel asked.

"Are you thinking about getting it tonight?"

Hazel winked at Taylor.

"You know it, haha."

Taylor, still worried, made another face.

"Oh please Taylor. I have condoms, calm down," Hazel replied.

"Well, what if it breaks? Then what? You would be a pregnant seventeen-year-old."

"Taylor, can you let me live off the edge for once?"

Taylor could hear Hazel's voice raise up a little. So she stayed neutral.

"I'm sorry. Hey you should invite Felix. He's cute."

"So he's not hot? You're a weirdo."

Taylor just laughed and gave Hazel a friendly punch on the arm.

"C'mon, please invite him!!!! Pleeeease," Taylor pleaded.

Hazel gave her a suspicious look.

"Okay fine. And you're the one warning me about getting pregnant."

"Oh, shut up."

The two girls laughed and started calling people over to Hazel's house. This may be the best sleepover the girls have had in their entire lives.
