Taylor, scared as hell, sees her shocked mother.

"WHAT are you doing?! I've called you six times and you haven't picked up! And you were about to make out with some boy?! We're leaving! And you're taking a drug test RIGHT NOW!"

Taylor was furious.

'Drugs? There's no way! I'm was smarter than that! And who even let her in, anyways? Probably someone drunk.'

Taylor looked back at Felix and he gave her an 'I'm sorry' look. He took a couple steps toward her, then stopped, sat down and put his arms over his knees. Taylor felt like complete shit. She let her own mother get between her ultimate crush. As Taylor walked out the door and into the car, she shed a tear and wiped her cheek. Her mother noticed.

"Stop crying," her mother said with a straight face.

"How can I not?! You just ruined my chances with Felix and now he thinks I took drugs!"

Her mother opened her mouth to say something, then closed. Silence filled the car until they got to the police station.

"Do you really think I took drugs, mom?"

"Taylor, you're my daughter. I don't know if you have. And I don't want you to. I want to protect you from all those things. Especially at age seventeen. I'm worried for you."

Taylor didn't blame her...

"Alright, what's the problem," a hefty, old police officer asked.

"Can my daughter just take a drug test?"

"Alrighty."

Taylor did the pee-in-cup instructions and got tested. Negative.

"Oh, thank god. But. Taylor," her mother said.

"What? What's wrong?"

Her mother had a worried look on her face.

"I'm sending you to a camp this summer. It's called Darkened Lakes. It's for girls and boys like you, your age."

Taylor's eyes were wide open.

"WHAT?! This is ridiculous! I can't believe you!"

Taylor stormed out and got in the car. She saw her mom walking a normal pace towards the car.

"I just think it's best for you, honey," her mother said while getting in the car.

"Dad wouldn't have let you do this."

Taylor's father had died in a plane crash on the way to a business trip. He died when Taylor was 14, and it crushed her. Silence again filled the car on the way home. Taylor then looked out the window.

'Why is everything so unfair?'
