The next morning, Taylor woke up and started packing her dumb bags. She was excited, angry, sad. So many emotions mixed, she couldn't decide which one to pick!

"Taylor, sweetheart, are you almost done?"

Taylor looked around as if she forgot something.

"No. I'm all packed."

"Great! Now wait-"

Taylor's mother pulled out a camera. Just as she held the camera up to her face, Taylor put her right arm over her eyes to cover up the flash.

"Mom! What on Earth are you doing?! Stop!"

"Oh shut up. Let's go."

The car ride to Darkened Lakes was long and boring. Taylor just wanted to die. She didn't want to leave her friends this summer. Not like last year. Taylor's mother spoke.

"Honey?"

Taylor gave her a I'm-too-pissed-to-care look.

"What. What could you want."

"We're here," Taylor's mother said as she gave her a weird look. Oh shit. Ok time to leave. Just run away. Who cares if home is twenty-five minutes away. It'll be worth it. As the two walked side by side into the gates, a perky, tall brunette walked up to them, holding a clip-board.

"Hello! I'm Jayde! I'm the camp leader and I'll be happy to show you your cabin and room mates!"

Jayde looked at Taylor and twitched her eyebrows.

'Was something wrong? Is there something on my face? This is already weird.'

Jayde leaded the two into a tall, frayed, stone building. As they walked in, tons and tons of teens Taylor's age were standing around and talking to each other. When the door shut, everyone glances over at the bundle of three.

"Ok everyone! We have a new student. Her name is Taylor Knox. Be nice to her or else the HELL DEMONS will haunt you," Jayde said with a smirk on her face.

'Hell Demons? Eyebrow twitching? What in the HELL was going on?!'
