This first section will just be a list of the prompts, and all after that will be a list of the stories associated with each prompt.
1. Sometimes a girl needs to run. Why is she running? What is she running from or towards?
2. Write a story about a demon that becomes fiercely protective of a young girl and appears as a small cat.
3. Four kids put on costumes for Halloween, and when a meator strikes their town they get super powers.
4. Write a story about a character that is running away from an organization that wants him or her back dead or aive. Include rabid squirrels, old rivals, gunfights, daggers, and a very educated talking squid.
5. As the passengers of a plane get farther away from that plane they start to lose their memory. The farther they go from the plane the more sevre their amnesia... all except for one passenger.
6. Four friends on a nature hike discover a deep cave complete with running water. As they go deeper into the cave they find strange objects- Skeletons, computers, and glowing orbs.
7. The Earth has been ravaged by war, famine, disease, and devistating storms. In less that a decade the population has dwindled from six billion to less than fifty thousand. There is no law and no order. The grid is gone and everyone must fend for themselves.
8. In midieval times a visitor comes to a small village. The visitor is dressed the part, but (s)he is carrying a pack that contains a solar powered lap top.
9. Two children discover a strange metal box while out playing. There appears to be no way to open the box, but when one child touches it they hear a voice.
10. A man who sees ghosts checks himself into the hospital, not realizing it has been closed for over 40 years.
11. After a near death experience, a man starts to experience a drastic kind of karma. Every good deed is almost immediately rewarded and every bed deed results in something horrible happening to him. All the while there is a dark shaddow watching him.
12. A traveler picks up a strange rock at a gift shop and is suddenly able to understand every language in the world, but can still only speak her native tongue.
13. A deadly virus hits a small town, killing most of the people. After it passes, those who survived start realizing they have acquired bizarre and impossible new talents.
14. A couple spots a strange bird while on vaction and decide to follow it.
15. A teenager is caught in a bad storm and hit by lightning. (s)he survives and can now hear the thoughts of animals.
16. A young scientest creates a real life dragon after having a dream detailing how.
