Chapter 6 - Awkwardness

Gemmas POV

Wow, this is awkward. See, I'm a girl who believes in soul mates and fireworks and things like that. It seems like the girls apart from me suit the boys. 

Jess goes perfectly with Louis, Shaye suits Niall so much, Rhi and Liam would be perfect together. I can see Toni and Harry together but I don't think they would be the perfect couple. And then there's Zaynh and I. We aren't meant to be together, I can see that. I mays well just leave now.

"Sorry guys, I'm not feeling very well. I think it would be best if I go home." I state.

"Oh, are you sure Gemma?" Liam asks.

"Yeah, it was a pleasure meeting you boys. Bye girls." I say

"Well get better Gemma." Zayns says.

"I will try....See-ya." I say as I walk out of the room.

Jess' POV

There's something off with Gemma. She's not normally like this. She's always comfortable and now she just seems really awkward.

"I'm gonna go check on her." I say as I stand up.

"Okay, we will be here waiting for you Jess." Toni says.

I nod as I walk out of the door and I see Gemma walking out of the door we came through to get backstage.

"Gemma! Wait up!" I yell.

Gemma turns around and sees me. She stops and waits for me. 

"Whats up hun? You don't seem like yourself." I say.

"Jess, can we sit down." Gemma says.

"Sure." I say as I head towards 2 chairs. I sit down.

"So, what's going on?" I ask.

"It's just, you and Louis look like the perfect couple. So does Shaye and Niall and Rhi and Liam. Toni and Harry would be a cute couple but I can tell they aren't meant for each other. Then there's me and Zayn. Anyone can tell we aren't good for each other. I'm just a meer fangirl and he doesn't want a girl who cries over him everytime she sees him. You know what I'm like with soulmates and that sort of shit." Gemma blurts out.

"Awwwww, Gemma" I say as I give her a hug, "Don't worry, you will find a boy who is perfect for you and he will be even better than Zayn. I promise" 

"Thanks Jess. I'm not feeling the best though. I actually feel like crap. I think I should go home." Gemma mumbles.

"Okay, get better. And do you really think Louis and I would be the perfect couple?" I ask.

"Hell yeah." Gemma says with a smile.

"Go and rest. I will call you tonight and check on you." I say.

"Okay, bye Jess." Gemma says as she gives me a hug and starts walking out the door.

I walk back to the room where the girls are in. They look like they are having so much fun. 

"I'm back! Did you miss me?" I say.

"No way!" The girls say. So do the boys except for Zayn. He just sat there staring at me with his chin on his hand.

His gaze made my stomach do flips.

Suddenly I hear 'Up All Night' blasting out of my phone. Yep, that's my ringtone. Nice, huh?

"Hello?" I say

"Hello is this Jessica?" The stranger says.

"Yes, speaking." I say confused.

"Your friend Gemma just had a heart attack..........." He said
