When Does It Goes Away (Laurmani)

What are you doing here?" The Latina asked with a confused look on her face.

"We need to talk."

During school Dinah was thinking about what Mani had asked Lauren about was she Kenzie father. She knows Lauren couldn't be, because she was already pregnant when she slept with the Latina and she never thought Lauren could have kids and that's why they didn't use protection. But Dinah knows she's has to tell the truth to Normani but more importantly to Lauren. She remember when Nela had asked her a few times about McKenzie.

"Talk about what?" Lauren asked standing face to face with the Tongan girl. Cause as far as she know it Dinah messed up her relationship with Normani before it began.

"You probably want to sit down for this, cause if you fall im not catching you." Dinah Jane said pulling the Latina down next to her.

Flashback

It was Sunday afternoon when Nela came over to bring McKenzie back home after his weekend. His mom always thought Kenzie wasn't his daughter but he was in love with the young girl and he wanted to do everything in his powers to make their relationship work out. It was mostly his fault that she got pregnant that night of the party. He never thought his own mother would do a DNA test on his daughter without telling him about it but she did.

Nela didn't know how he was going to bring it up to Dinah. Going on almost a year he thought of Mackenzie like she was his own daughter and that he would do anything to protect that little girl and make her happy, she even started calling him dad dad and he didn't want that feeling to go away.

"Hi baby girl!" Dinah said opening the door with a smile while reaching out for her daughter who was eager to see her. "Hey Nela," She said dryly.

"Do you have something to tell me?" Nela said to Dinah Jane who looked at him with a confused look on her face.

"What are you talking about?" The blonde said grabbing the baby bag off of Nela shoulder.

"Come on Dinah Jane I know Kenzie is not mine daughter?" Nela said causing the blonde to drop the bag on the floor before looking straight up at him.

"Look I don't know what you're talking about, McKenzie is your daughter." She said straight lying to his face but Nela saw straight through the lie.

"Oh really? You really are that dumb then and I probably wasn't the first guy you opened up your legs to."

Did he really just called me a whore? I know he didn't just called me a whore?

Turning around with Kenzie still in her arms and Dinah slapped Nela across his face without thinking. "How dare you call me a whore in my own house in front of my daughter?! You got me drunk and took away my virginity at a fucking party and didn't call me for a week and now you calling me a whore?" Dinah couldn't believe he said that to her in the first place.The Tongan girl was beyond pissed off when he said that to her, she thought Nela was different from any guys she dated in the past and the fact that her parents liked him was a plus, she just lied about his age.

Baby McKenzie just looked between both of them not knowing what was going on between her parents. Nela just looked at Dinah with a hurting look on his face.

"Dinah I'm sorry okay? But just tell me the truth please? Is McKenzie mine or not?"

Why do she has to have this conversation now? With all the people that lives in this house not one person is home. It was an awkward silence between the both of them. Dinah Jane opened her mouth a few times trying to find the right words to come out but nothing.
