A long time ago, an ancient race of extraterrestrial beings known as the "Tenalpians" existed. They lived on Planet Tenalp, somewhere in the Andromeda Galaxy. The Tenalpians created a glove that gave the user a large amount of power. Because of how many resources were used to make these gloves, only 9 were created. Because of how dangerous the gloves were, the Tenalpians decided to lock the gloves away in a ball of rock. Each glove could only be unlocked with a certain DNA code for each glove. The Tenalpians launched the ball of rock into space, and the gloves were never seen again...

....until the present day. The evil Caidoz Empire's leader, Lord Caidoz, had heard of these gloves. His ship found the giant ball of rock in space, next to a planet known as "Terra." Caidoz needed to destroy the rock, so he ordered the pilot of his ship to fire a laser and destroy the rock, to retrieve the gloves inside. However, the rock broke into several smaller rocks, which were pulled towards Terra, becoming meteors.

Meanwhile, on Terra, there was a boy named Mark Vega. Mark was resting, when he saw the meteor crash into his backyard. Even though he was supposed to be asleep, Mark wanted to see what the strange glowing thing was that landed in his backyard, so he snuck out and saw the meteor. However, inside the meteor was a gold, metal glove with a blue and green orb on it. Mark brought the glove inside with him.

The next day, Mark decided to take the glove with him to school, just in case he needed it later. That was very unlikely, because Mark's day at school was always really boring. Mark never really did anything interesting at school.

However, that wasn't true all the time. Mark used to go to a school that he enjoyed even more. He was very active in that school, and he even formed a literature club. Mark didn't really remember a lot about the literature club, or anything that happened in his old school. What he would never forget, though, was the Great Separation. This was back when the old school had no room for Grade 9, so everyone in Grade 8 had to go to a different school. Because of this, Mark didn't know if he would find anyone from his old school. Right now, Mark was in Grade 10.

Even without his club, Mark was still into writing. Inspired by the glove that fell from the meteor, Mark decided to write a story called "Planetman." This story was about a guy who used the power of the "Planet Gloves" to fight against extraterrestrial invaders. However, Mark didn't really know if those were the actual powers of the glove he had with him. He only got this inspiration from when he was sleeping.

After finishing school, Mark went home, but on the way, his car was stopped by mysterious masked soldiers in light grey, futuristic armour. They were soldiers of the Caidoz Empire. One of the Caidoz soldiers started looking around. He detected something inside of Mark's bag and signalled the other soldiers. The Caidoz Soldiers then began surrounding Mark. Mark then realized something. These soldiers were after the glove.

Another thing Mark knew was that these guys were also evil, based on how they didn't care about the destruction they caused to the road when they landed. Mark put the glove on his left hand, his dominant hand. Then the glove started to glow blue and green. A light blue ring appeared on the glove. Somehow, Mark knew what to do, as if someone was telling him. He used his right hand and pressed his right index finger on the ring. That was when something happened.

A small flash of light appeared, surrounding Mark and blocking the soldiers' view. Then some dark blue armour began to form around Mark's entire body, except his face. Then some kind of helmet began to form. Mark was now covered in some kind of armour.
