Today was the day of the boxing match between Aaron Stevens and whom Mark assumed was Rick. Mark didn't want to go at first, but he needed to go if he wanted to find the meteors. After finishing breakfast, Mark decided to go right away to the other school to see the boxing match.
At the other school, Mark entered through the front door with many other visitors, including Nathaniel, who was busy reading his comic. Mark made his way through the large wave of students from many different schools, who were here to see the boxing match. Mark ended up in a courtyard, a shortcut to avoid getting run over by the crowd. In the courtyard, there was a nice garden of flowers, and a statue being built. The sculptors making the statue seemed to have designed the statue to resemble what looked like a female Planetman holding a spear. Mark looked at a bronze plaque on the ground. It read:
"This statue is dedicated to the heroine who appeared out of nowhere one day and saved our school from an alien attack."
Mark then re-entered the building through another door, mingled with the crowd, and quickly left into an empty hallway to escape the crowd. That was when he ran into someone he least expected: his former interest until the Great Separation: Athena Walther. They were both surprised after seeing each other, but then this big, muscular, slightly good-looking guy holding a gym bag appeared. Mark immediately knew who this guy was.
"The name's Rick Resol, but you can call me Rick," the muscular, slightly good-looking guy said. "I see you've already met my girlfriend, Athena."
"Actually," Mark said...
Rick interrupted Mark. "Yes, I know she's attractive and stuff. She's also very smart. Before, I had to rely on my little brother to do all my homework for me. But now, I don't have to rely on my useless little bro anymore!"
Mark said "Look, Rick. I know she does your homework for you, but have you ever tried doing what SHE wants?"
"Why the heck would I do THAT?" Rick said. "Listen here, little boy," Rick said, giving a mean look to Mark. "I am ten times more strongerer than you, and I will win and beat up that Aaron guy in the boxing match later! So don't even think of talking to my girlfriend, or I will beat the living stuff out of you! Understand me?"
"Ok," Mark said worryingly.
"Good," Rick said. "I have to go get changed now." Rick left, and Mark noticed that Rick's gym bag was half unzipped. There was a glowing red light in the gym bag. Mark decided to follow Rick around, because that glowing red light reminded Mark of the Mars glove's bright red glow. Rick paraded around the school like he owned the place. He kicked over a garbage bin just as the janitor nearby finished cleaning it up, and he also punched a student with both injured arms in the face. The student tried to fight back, but fell to the ground. Rick also passed the lost and found box, but not before dumping all of its contents on the floor and scattering them everywhere. Mark felt sad for everyone who needed to use the lost and found.Mark was able to sneak into the changing room. He saw Rick open his gym bag, pulling out a bright red glow stick. Apparently he packed it in to keep away mosquitoes. Rick did have a glove, but it wasn't a planet glove. It was a boxing glove. 2 boxing gloves. Mark was finished spying on Rick, and he knew that he wasn't Planetman Mars, so he quickly escaped the changing room before anyone could see him.
About half an hour later, the boxing match was ready to start. Everyone took their seats, ready to watch the fight. Rick Resol and Aaron Stevens both entered the ring. Both were ready to fight.
