8. Lake House

-Lauren's Point of View-

I woke up in my room still in my dress from last night.

"Good morning," My mum said smiling, I jumped,

"What are you doing still home?" I asked her,

"I'm packing for the holiday tomorrow,"

"You leave tomorrow?"

"Well tomorrow is the end of the month," She laughed, I nodded my head and sat on the stool in the kitchen,

"Michael called before,"

"Did he?" I asked,

"Yeah, he said he would call round a bit later,"

"I'll go see him," I said getting up,

"In your dress from the night before?"

"Leaving my house in the dress from the night before, how scandalous," I laughed, she shook her head and kicked my bum as I walked out of the kitchen. Taking the short trip round to Michael's I knocked on the door,

"Hey," He said smiling at me,

"Hi! My mum said you called round," I said stepping into his house,

"Yeah, I wanted to see if you were still going to come to the lake house with us?" He asked,

"Lake house?"

"Yeah, that I told you about when we were in the park, before the Nicole thing,"

"Oh yeah. Erm yeah sure, saves being here on my own," I laughed, he smiled and leaned in to kiss me,

"I never got to give you a goodnight kiss because you fell asleep,"

"That doesn't reflect the date by the way," I said laughing and following him into the kitchen, Luke smiled at me as I walked in,

"Nice dress," He said before eating another spoonful of cereal,

"Thanks, Michael picked it out," I laughed sitting down next to him,

"Luke helped," Michael said,

"Nice chose," I whispered to him,

"Thanks, are you coming to the lake house?"

"Unfortunately for you lot, yes," I said smiling,

"Nothing unfortunate about it,"

"Aw Luke," I said playing with his cheeks, he rolled his eyes and elbowed me lightly before taking another spoonful of cereal. The girls walked into the kitchen with smiles on their faces talking about something they watched before bed last night,

"Good morning everyone," They said,

"Don't you have something to ask Lauren?" Michael asked,

"OH YEAH! You're coming with us to get our nails done," Shannon asked,

"Why?" I asked,

"Because we thought you would want to come with us to get your nails done," Shannon said,

"OH! I thought you meant watch you guys get your nails done,"

"No silly," Georgia said hitting my arm slightly,

"That might be hard though considering I don't have nails,"

"We can get you fake ones," Megan said,

"Okay,"

"Come on then, we'll meet you outside Clifford's house in an hour," Georgia said turning around and walking away,
