Love the Pain

A/N: Oh my days!!!! I just found out that my book had reached number five on the Snapshots list!! Thank you all!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! You are amazing and I love you.

We had taken his phone and hidden it in my bag. Just a harmless prank, right? We laughed not knowing what we had gotten ourselves into. Hazel and I pretended to be paying attention to Hasselhoff's movie about the Berlin Wall.

He came back from talking to his friend and was looking for the phone. Furious. He immediately accused Hazel. She naturally said it wasn't with her because it wasn't. It was with me. It was then he choked her. I was wandering if she was okay. He let go then came to me.

"Where is it?" he asked, "I know you have it." I lied. I told him I didn't have it. I thought he wouldn't do anything to me. I mean, we had nothing going on and I had a hoodie on so I was protected. Then he grabbed my neck. So much for the hoodie.

I knew he was strong. He had punched me on multiple occasions, mostly because I purposefully aggravated him. (I loved doing that.) But even with all that, I didn't expect him to be that strong. He looked so weak though. I couldn't breathe.

"I will slap the two of you if you don't give me my phones. I am crazy enough to do it." I knew he was and I loved it.

When he moved somewhere else we put one of the phones on his desk and the other in Hazel's bag because he wanted to check mine. He turned and saw it on his desk and got angry. He punched her, for the first time, and then he slapped her. I don't know how, but he got a charger and whipped her. This was all in class.

The other phone fell out of her bag. This made him angrier. He didn't touch her again but she didn't talk to him either. She was angry. The bruises showed later (and we are both dark skinned). His excuse was that he was sorry but he had warned her.

As for me, my throat still hurt but I loved it. What could I say, I loved the pain.
