This is a poem I wrote...cause I can:

Do you love me?

By Jokie

I looked as we sat side-to-side,

Watching the gentle rise of the tide.

Now there was nowhere to hide,

No more time to bide.

Do you love me?

I asked as I watched your face,

It makes my heart beat a pace.

Love me if I were not in this place.

Or be like the sun and moon in chase?

Do you love me?

Will you love me with all my grey hair?

Even when I'm not a lady fair?

When I'm crazy beyond bare?

When I can't see here nor there?

Do you love me?

Would you love me if I lose all my teeth?

If you are beyond my reach?

Of our love, to young ones, will we teach?

Even when I can't hear a single pitch?

Do you love me?

U
