5: Exes can be friends?

Lauren's POV
After what I just realized yesterday Kenzie and Brynn have been bugging me about William. This girls are gonna kill me." So, are you jealous?" Brynn asked while we walk through the hallway of the school.

" Of what?" I asked then just in time we spotted William talking to Lily leaning against the locker in front of the room." Yes. Yes I am." I answered glancing to them one last time before heading inside the classroom.

We sat on our usual sitting arrangements, placed our bags, and sit back. When William entered the room and made I contact with me I quickly looked away and not get trap in his eyes.

" Hey." I heard William said. I looked at him and he's sitting beside me. I quickly looked at Brynn and Kenzie. They just giggled.

I quickly looked back to him." H-hey." I stuttered." Didn't see you yesterday. What happened?" He asked." Oh now you're acting worried. Wow." I said sarcastically then I looked back at the girls who face palmed themselves.

" Ok." He said blankly and turned his attention to his notebook. I turned around to the girls and mouthed them " What should I do?" and they just shrugged.

" Afternoon class." Our biology teacher said. He started to discuss things and made us do a class work and a homework. After class the girls and I went to the girls locker change room to change to our p.e. uniform since we have p.e. and we do sports in this class.

As we went to the gym, great, William's here too. Is he gonna be in all of my classes?! After that class and some other classes I went home.

" Hey, you're home." Mom greeted in the kitchen." What's for dinner?" I asked." Just a healthy salad for tonight." She said.

" And by the way, your manager came here and want to announce that you're going to Japan for a photoshoot with vogue." Mom said.

" Vogue? That's awesome." I said." Yeah, he said you'll do the photoshoot with another male model." She added." Great." I said sarcastically.

" Did he said who the male model is?" I asked curios." No, but he said you are meeting him at the airport." Mom said.

" You're coming right?" I asked her and she shook her head no." Here's the ticket by the way. Don't think of misplacing it." Mom said handing me the ticket.

" I won't." I said and smiled." Where's your brother?" Dad asked walking in the kitchen." He's with Kenzie at the mall." I said.

" Go call your brother and say bring Kenzie with him for dinner." Mom said and I nodded before calling Johnny and ell him what mom said.

" They'll be here in 5." I said before going up to the small balcony and stares at the street. It was plain and an empty street, peaceful, and quiet when something or should I say someone caught my eyes.

He's there

Pacing back and fort." William?" I asked the man who was at my front yard and he looked up." H-hey." He stuttered.

" Wait there." I said and run downstairs to the front yard where he's standing." W-wh-what a-are you doing here?" I stuttered asking him shoving my hand inside my denim shorts back pocket.

" I was thinking if I should give you this today or tomorrow." He said handing me my book." You forgot it at school." He said handing me my book.

" Oh..." I said taking the book and hugging it." Lauren, It's not just the thing I came here for. I want to talk to you. About. Us." He said and my heart skips a beat.

" Wh-what about us?" I asked him gulping, my hands are shaking." First of all, I really really mean my sorry to you. I know I did something in the past and it hurted you-" I cut him off.

" Yeah, you did." I said." I hope, at least if you forgive me we can be friends again." He said nervously. Out of nowhere it shocked me that I instantly hugged him.

I felt his arms wrapped around me. I miss being in his arms. letting go of each other we both smiled and looking away, we were greeted by Johnny, Kenzie, and my parents.

" William, come and join us for dinner." Dad said." Sure Mr. Orlando." William said with a smile before turning back to me and smiled.

I smiled back and see Kenzie and Johnny smirking. Johnny turned to Kenzie with a smile and escort her inside the house.

" Exes can be friends." I murmured to myself before William and I shared a last look at each other and heading inside.

As we sat down, we started to eat." So, what are you going to do this weekend Kenzie?" Dad asked.

" I'm having a surprise birthday party for Brynn." Kenzie said." OMG, I can't go! I have a photo Shoot in Japan." I said then I saw William froze for a second but I shrugged it off.
