So when I was in 2nd/3rd grade, my brother, who was in 5th/6th grade, was going through his Green Day phase, and because I wanted to be just like my big brother, I loved Green Day too. (and omg he wore guy-liner!!)
Anyway, I've been feeling really nostalgic lately, so I've been listening to a lot of Green Day, and tbh I forgot how good they are. Its been like (I don't wanna math rn so this is a guess) idk 7ish 8ish years since I've listened to Green Day and I still remember all the lyrics to the songs. (And cuz a school year isn't a whole year it involves math so it's not that easy okay. I say as I take a math that's 2 years ahead of my grade.)
Green Day just makes me really nostalgic and I'm loving it.
ALSO, when I was in like Pre school, my brother was going through a Beastie Boys phase and that's legit all I listened to during pre school. I think that really explains a lot.
