Staying Over 1

Chapter 6

Next Morning

Today was the last day staying at Orlando so we were able to go back home for 3 days and come back for the next stop. I started packing and once I was done I headed to the lobby where everyone was waiting . Cameron came over to me "Were going to stay over Carter's for the next 3 days and some of the boys are coming too ok?" I reply "yea I don't mind". I hug Athena bye, she didn't want to come with us because she wanted tine to herself. I hugged everyone goodbye.

At Carter's House

Ashley's Pov

I take my luggage and enter Carter's house, A slightly aged woman was standing at the front door. I greeted her "hi" and I smiled She smiled back "Ashley?.. I remember you. You and Catah were such good friends when you guys were younger." I laugh, in my mind though. The way she said Carter was halarious "y-yea" I reply.Carter invites us inside his room. "So.. Nash and I are going to be  moving to Cali." Carter says as soon as everyone entered his room. Cameron sat down on a swively chair "that's awesome!" he exclaims. Carter nods "So I was thinking we should go to the movies today and tomorrow to a water park, you like the plan?" "yea" we say.

At The Movie Theater

I sit on the bench and watch the boys (Carter,Matthew,Cameron,and Nash) fight and babble for a movie they want to watch.

~few minutes later~

Matthew finally breaks the fight and says "We should ask Ashley what movie she wants to watch" and he flashes me a smile. I smile back awkwardly "I really want to see the dawn of the planet of the apes.." they all agree and nod we buy our tickets and head to the snack bar the buttery scent of popcorn instantly fills  the air. I went up to the cashier and got one popcorn.Soon as I get my wallet out  to pay,someone puts a $5 down on the counter I turn back to see it was Carter I turn back and see the $5 already gone. "thanks.." I say to him as I pickup the popcorn. "no problem but you just have to repay me.". I don't get it he just said no problem..."uh okay.what do you want?" he immediatly answers "sit next to me when we go into the theater."  "o-ok" I stutter. Ugh why'd I stutter. Everyone gets their snacks and we go inside the theather it was dark and I couldn't see anything, then suddenly a hand grabs me and pulls me along "who is this?.." I ask scared  ~no response~ the movie made a quick BOOM and the sound echoes and also fills the theater with a quick flash of light. I try to see who it is that's grabbing my hand. It was Carter.

I follow him to a seat and sit down, I look over a t Carter he had no snacks.. I'm guessing he wasted his $5 on me.. "uhh Carter since you bought this popcorn you should eat it" I suggested. He gave me a blank look "oh yea.. we should share".

After The Movie

We hop into Carter's car and drive to get some foryo. I check my phone to see it's 10:27p.m. I recieve 2 messages from Brandon.

30 minutes ago

B: Heyy Ashley hope your having a good time there..

15 minutes ago

B:This is going to be awkward.. Ashley I like you and will you go out with me?.

I just stared at the screen for what seemed like hours. Matthew looks over my shoulder "ohhh Ash, someone got a crush on you" he loudly whispers, I quickly put away my phone "shut up Matthew" I whisper back. "Who is it?? that guyyy." he says in a girly voice "A friend of mine.". "ohhh he just got friend zoned." and he starts to laugh, I join. But I still don't know how to respond to Brandon do I say yes or no?.. I only see him as a friend.Gawddd this is so complicated.

At the froyo store

I get regular tart and top it off with strawberry,kiwi,mochi, and some nutella. I go ahead and sit down on a seat. I take out my phone again rereading the message that Brandon sent to me then I make up my mind.

A. I explain to him that I don't see him like that.

B. Just give in (because I don't want him upset)

C. throw him off..

I'm going with b.. I text him back.

"I'd love to" I hit send.
