When I entered into science class, Matt was sitting in the middle row to the right. I tried hiding my pain and smiled at him, then sat next to him.

Teacher: Alright kids today were going to be doing a project where you need lab partners and since you guys are already in two pairs the person next to you is your partner. I looked at Matt and smiled.

Teacher: Your project is to make a prototype of what makes a cell. Alrighty?

Kids: Yess Mrs.Tork

Matthew's Pov:

Ashley didn't seem like she was feeling well "Are you ok?" I ask and she nods. "I just have to go see Mr.Buckinghem for Social Studies." her eyes twinkle, she's lying. "oh ok." I reply. I wonder how, how she keeps all her pain to herself.

I go up to Mrs.Tork and get a hall pass to go to the nurses office.

The nurse let me go home.

After School Matthew texted me asking if he could come over for the project so I said sure. I rested on my bed for a few minutes, every movement that I made would hurt. DING DONG I limped to the door and down the stairs as fast as I could. I opened the door "hey" he says "hey" I let him in the living room and we start to begin our project.
