Chapter 7

Ashley's Pov:

Cameron and I arrive home, when we get out the car mom is standing out the porch welcoming us. I walk up to the porch to my mom and kiss her on the cheek "I missed you!" she smiles and hugs me. I go straight to my room and jump on my bed, I lay there and stare at the ceiling replaying everthing thats happened over the week. "ding" I sigh and sit up to look at my phone to see that I got, one message from Brandon.

Brandon: "Do you want to go to the park today?"

Ashley: Sure, of course. but can we go around 1? cause i'm exhausted

Brandon: yea I don't mind.

I lay back down and close my eyes to take a nap.

Hours later..

My eyes flutter open and I grab my phone to see what time it was 1:47p.m. oh gawd! I yell and I quickly grab a oversized shirt and leggings and rush to the bathroom. I put on my normal makeup and rush to the door as I open it, Brandon was sitting on the stairs of my porch sleeping. I quietly sit on the stairs next to him and poke his cheek, He wakes up fast at the touch of my finger.

Carter's Pov:

When I finally finished moving to Cali, I decided to go to Cam's house since he knew this place more then the other Magcon boys. When I pulled up to their driveway I look outside my window and see Ashley and a boy holding hands. I get out my car and I feel pissed,I walk over to the porch. Ashley looks up at me "Hey Carter!" she stands up and gives me a hug, I don't know what but her existence makes me feel crazy happy. She pulls away fast, almost too fast. I gave her a smile and the boy greets himself right away "I'm Brandon, Ashley's boyfriend." I'm done. I ignore him and walk away to my car and drive back home.

Ashley's Pov:

I felt almost uncomfortable when the word "Ashley's boyfriend" came out of Brandon's mouth. Carter walked away and drives away like a jet. Brandon looks at me confused"what's up with him?" I look back at him "uhhh I don't know let's just go to the park." Ever since Carter told me he liked me I kept on thinking about him every seconed and I just don't think it's right to stay with Brandon when I don't like him that way. We walked to the park and I sat down on the rusty old bench, my foot was aching. I patted to a seat next to me, he sat down "soo Brandon.. I like someone else and I just don't think it's right for me to be dating you." he looked down "Ok I understand" he walked me home, and I thought "were never going to see each other after this."
