Tris POV:

After I bumped into the cutie, I read my schedule.

"Ugh."

My schedule read:

1st Period: History RM 304

2nd Period: English RM 201

3rd Period: Math RM 313

4th Period: Science RM 116

5th Period: Lunch

6th Period: PE RM 402

7th Period: Art RM 224

I moaned.

I stunk at history.

Such a great way to begin the day.

"So Chrissy, what do you have first period?"

"Art. I wanted science." She replied.

"Chrissy, but you hate science."

"Oh. Now I do?"

I giggled.

And that's when the awful bell rang.

I arrived at history class 2 minutes late.

"Mrs. Prior, I resume?" A tall blonde women spoke.

"Um, yes."

"I am Mrs. Jeanine Matthews, and you miss, are late."

I rolled my eyes.

"Yeah. Just 2 minutes late, a big deal."

I realized everyone in class stared at me, but I didn't care.

"Excuse me, young lady, do you know what you are getting yourself into?"

I sighed.

"On the 1st day of school, I, unfortunately, will have to give a detention pass to someone."

I froze.

What have I gotten myself into?
