Innocence and the Rocker (Luke Hemmings)

I rolled over trying to get the sun out of my face when I roll over too far and hit a warm wall. Arms instantly wrap around my small figure as I am pulled into a cave of warmth.

"Good morning baby." A deep, hot, husky voice mumubles into the side of my neck, pulling me in closer.

"Good morning." I attempt to say back, my face smooshed into a shoulder making my words hard to understand. We lay there in that position for a while before Luke sits up in our bed, taking the majority of the blanket with him. "Stop hogging." I groan. Luke chuckles before tossing the entire blanket on top of me. I feel his side of the bed get lighter and his heavy footsteps leave the room. After about five minuets I wake up to the smell of coffee from downstairs. I throw our white duvet off of me and adjust my tank top before headding downstairs.

"Good morning sleeping beauty," Luke sarcastically says, "I made you some coffee."

"I could smell it, that's why I got up." I walk over to the counter and grab a cup, pouring me some of the fresh coffee. As I start to add the carmel flavoring, Luke wraps his arms around my torso from behind me, nuzzeling his head into my neck.

Luke and I had known each other since our first year of high school. We instantly hit it off even though we were the most unlikeley to be friends. I was shy, innocent and quiet in school. People often took advantage of my innocence and made fun of me for it, for stupid things like not knowing what a blow job was or other sexual things. One day in the begining of the year, Luke, the class bad boy, the class clown, the punk kid decided to stand up for me. Now even though my new found friend was there to stick up for me, the kids still made fun of me. The next year we started dating. The next three years of high school were pretty much the same as the first, my innocence taking the best of me, but I had an amazing boyfriend to help me through it. In my third year of high school, all my girlfriends were going through guys like mad, talking about how they were having all this intercourse and these sexual advances when at the most Luke and I just kissed. Pretty soon in third year I had lost all of my girl friends because while they became consumed in their sex life, I stayed in my little innocent world with Luke. His three other friends, Ashton, Calum and Micheal became my new best friends. In our last year, year four, the boys had started a band of the four of them and had put videos on youtube and played at the schools talent show. Near the end of year four the boys and I travled america whilest they were and opening act for the famous band One Direction and by the end of year four the boys had become world renound. Once we grauated, Luke had asked me to move in with him. We left our parents and moved into a small house in the northern part of Sydney, the rest of the boys living down the same street as us.

And that leaves me where I am now, living with an amazing rocker boyfrend with practically three brothers also in the mix. Now that the boys were 'famous' things did get hard, especially hate. During high school I had gained obscene ammounts of anxeity, and the hate brings back some of the memories of school. The boys, especially Luke are well aware of this. We balance each other out.

"Emma? Can you hear me babe?" Luke says in my ear.

"Sorry, I zoned out. What did you say?" I ask as I turn around in his arms and take a long sip of my hot coffee.

"The boys are coming over around one so we can work on some new music, is that alright?"

"Yeah that's fine. I'm going into town to pick up some new books." I loved reading. I could fiish three maybe four books in a week so I'm constantly going back to the book store.

"Do you want me to come with you?" Luke asks whilst playing with my hair.

"That's alright, I won't be gone long."
