Marcus' POV

Me: STOP RAIN!!! STOP!!!

Rain: BYE!!

She made a heart shape with her fingers and looked down. I was almost here, but then she jumped. I looked down and she was falling. Then her body hit the water and she didn't swam up. After some time I saw a body in the river and it was worn by a stream. I ran and Tinus called the ambulance and police.

Me: NOOOO!!! HELP SOMEONE!!!

I was running all the way down to the river until I couldn't catch up with the river anymore. I heard sirens and I saw ambulance and police. They were driving somewhere lower the stream and my heart was breaking every time I saw another car drove past me.

Tinus: Marcus?!

Me: GO AWAY!!!

Tinus: Come quick!!

Me: NOOO!!!

Tinus: They can't save her!! She's trapped!!

Me: WHAT?!

I got up and ran. Then Martinus shouted from behind me.

Tinus: IT'S IN THE OTHER WAY!!!

I turned around and ran as fast as I could. It's about her life! I finally know that I've got strong feelings for her. I need her in my life. I was here. The place was full of police cars and ambulance. They were all trying to save Rain. There were some journalists and they turned to me and Martinus.

Journalist: Hello, Marcus and Martinus. Why are you two here?

Me: Don't ask questions please.

Journalist: Marcus, are you and Rain together?

Me: Nooo!!! Get away!!

Martinus: Calm down Marcus!

Journalist: Do you know anything about what's happening here?

Martinus: Please, we're her friends and we're very hurted about what we saw, so please leave us fucking alone! That's fucking bullshit! Why are you here anyway?!

They turned around and walked in other direction. I break down crying. I looked in her way again and they were trying to pul her out of water. I couldn't take it anymore, so I ran there and jump in water.

Martinus: MARCUS!! MARCUS!! WHAT'S WRONG WITH YOU?!?!

I didn't look back, I kept swimming to Rain. She was between some rocks and there was a tree in the river. I swam to her and tried to free her. I pushed tree away, but I accidentally ripped her clothes. I held her up with my arm and in the same time swim back to others.

Officer: Thank you young man. But you shouldn't do this. You could drown and we would have more problems.

Me: I'm sorry. I couldn't take it any longer.

They took Rain and rushed her to hospital. I got out of the water and a nurse rushed to me. She gave me a blanket and put it over my shoulders. Then I walked back to Tinus.

Martinus: Are you okay?!?!

Me: I'm fine, just a little cold.

Martinus: Why did you do this?!

Me: Idk. It came out of me in a moment and I jumped.

Martinus: But you didn't like her. Lemme think....you...are you....in love? Is my brother really in love?!

Me: Not that loud! I think I'm starting to fall for her, but she can't know.

Martinus: Aww, my big bro has a crush. But what now?

Me: What do you mean?

Martinus: Let's go to hospital and see what happens!

We call mum and we figured out that she arrived a minute ago. We ran to her and she hugged us. She was hurted, but she didn't want to show it.

Me: Let's go to hospital!!

Mum: We're going home!

Her voice was strict and her face was angry now. She didn't seem very happy, so I stayed silent.

Martinus: But mum, we nee---

Mum: No buts. We're going home and that's it.

Martinus: Marcus...say something.

Mum: MARTINUS, home!!

He looked angry at me and get in the car. I walked there slowly, not turning around to see what was happening. He was looking out of the window with sad and angry face, but I didn't say a word all way. Mum and Martinus were arguing, but I stayed silent.

We were home now. Martinus rushed out and in the house. He closed the door in my face. I opened them and he was throwing something upstairs.

Me: MARTINUS, WHAT ARE YOU DOING?!?!

Martinus: DON'T ASK!! DON'T YOU DARE TO COME UPSTAIRS!! YOU STUPID IDIOT!! FALLING FOR HER, HUH?! WELL, YOU KNOW WHAT, I'M TOO!! AND YOU DON'T DESERVE HER AT ALL!!

All was silent.I heard nothing more. Tear rolled down my face and I heard mum behind me.

Mum: What's happening here? Who's falling for who? Explain now!

Me: Both of us are falling for Rain. Sorry for not telling you.

Mum: YOU CAN'T. YOU'RE FAMOUS AND SHE'LL RUIN YOUR CAREER.

I ran up to my room and closed the door. I pulled out my phone and called in hospital. After a first ring, they answered.

Secretary: Yes please?

Me: Hello. Can I ask how is Rainarilyn Felison?

Secretary: Are you releated to her?

Me: I-I'm her...cousin.

Secretary: Okay then. She's in coma and we don't know when she'll wake up and if she'll wake up.

Me: O-okay. Thanks.

Then she hung up and I break down crying. Martinus came in my room and he was angry still. He looked at first weird at me, then angry again and then sad. He walked to me and hugged me.

Martinus: What's wrong?

Me: Rain is in coma and they don't know when she'll wake up and if she'll wake up.

He stayed silent and kept hugging me. His whole body was shaking, but he tried not to cry. I wish I could be that strong, but I'm not. I'm weak and I can't take things like Martinus. He became stronger and I don't even know when.

Me: When did you become so strong?

Martinus: I'm not strong. I'm weak, but I'm controlling my feelings. It's hard, but I'm happy most of the time.
