School

The alarm rang and I got up. I looked myself in the mirror and I was a mess. I opened my wardrobe and pulled out the first thing I saw. Blue jeans and black hoodie. I put on some makeup and went downstairs to eat breakfast. Mum was waiting there.

Me: Morning.

Mum: Good morning. Eat and I'll drive you to school.

Me: No need to. I'll go alone or with Marcus and Martinus or Mathias.

Mum: I want to.

Me: I don't want to.

She slowly got up and I got up too. I grabbed my bag, put on my shoes and headed off to school. Just as I stepped out the door, I saw Marcus and Martinus passing our house with a little girl walking beside them. I waved my hand and they waited for me.

Me: Morning guys. How are you? And who's that cutie?

Marcus: We're ok and this is our little sister Emma.

Emma: You don't remember me?

Me: Umm.. sorry..

Emma: It's ok.

She smiled kindly to me and we started walking to school. On the way there, we dropped Emma in front of her school and a lot of kids came to me. They hugged me and asked for my autographs. Well, uhm, what should I say? It was funny. Then we went to our school. When I was there, I stopped.

Marcus: Why did you stop?

Me: Uh, it's nothing.

I started walking forward and as I stepped inside, all of the students went silent. I started to feel uncomfortable and I think Marcus saw it, so he took my hand in his and pulled me with him to my locker. Then a girl ran to me. Marcus whispered to me.

Marcus: This is Lucy, your bff.

I nodded and then she was getting closer and she jumped in my arms and hugged me. She was crying and I hugged her back. It was weird for me to hug someone I don't know.

Lucy: RAIN!! I CAN'T BELIEVE IT'S YOU!! I MISSED YOU SO SO SO MUCH!! WHAT WERE YOU THINKING?! I WOULD LOOSE MY BEST FRIEND!

Me: Welp, I'm here now. So I guess it's okay.

Lucy: I was sick worried! Come, let's go to Annabelle.

I sighed and walked behind her. I wonder who's Annabelle. Marcus didn't tell me about her. Now I'm really nervous. What if she isn't my friend and I act like she's my friend. Then my secret will be revealed. I whispered to myself.

Marcus, I wish you were here.

Lucy: Huh? Did you say something?

Me: No, no.

She shrugged with her shoulders and continued walking. We stopped in front of a classroom already filled with students. How am I supposed to recognize Annabelle. Lucy looked at me with weird expression on her face.

Lucy: Will you just stand here? Go inside girl. They're waiting for you!

Me: Umm, could you go first?

She looked weird at me but went inside. I followed her with my head down. Then all of the class went silent. I heard some whispers. I turned around and saw Marcus standing at the door. He came to me and we sat down at the back of the class. Then I asked him about Annabelle.

Marcus: She's sitting at the front. The girl with blonde hair. And you always called her Anna so when you see her call her Anna or else she might find out.

I nodded and class started. Teacher came in and sat down at the front. She looked up and asked.

Teacher: Is everyone here?

Class: Yes.

Teacher: Oka--wait what?! Rain?!

I looked up and she looked kind at me.

Teacher: How are you feeling?

Me: Good, I guess.

Teacher: That's great. I hope you'll be able to catch up with us. If you want someone can give you lessons after school.

Marcus: I'll do it.

She nodded and smiled. Then the class continued. After some time it was lunch and we all went out of the class. Then someone jumped on me and started hugging me like crazy. I looked up and saw Annabelle.

Anna: OMG girl!!! I missed you so much!! Why didn't you call me yesterday?!?!

Me: Uhh sorry. I didn't think much about it.

Anna: It's ok.

She looked behind me and then pulled me with her. We went to the field and she got the ball.

Anna: Let's play football!

Me: Uhm, can I go back inside?

Anna: Oh, ok.

As I was about to start walking to school, four girls came to me. They smiled and I looked at Anna and she was smiling to them.

Anna: Hey girls. What are you doing here?

Girl: We came to say hi to our friend Rain. We missed you and we're really sorry for what we did. We didn't know that it would affect you that much.

Me: It's ok.

Girl2: If it wasn't for you, Clara and Martinus would never be together and Luciana and Marcus either. So thank you and we're really sorry again.

They have got girlfriends?! Something in me moved. I felt light pain in my heart. Why? I could have known this. I looked at the floor and whished them good luck and headed back to school. But what I didn't know was, that the worst thing is about to come.

Do you think she'll be able to hide her lost memory or will everyone found out the truth? Are Clara and Luciana really their girlfriends?
